Players like HJH dont give a shit anyway. They just want to make a ton of money.

Manager of Augsburg said "HJH has no passion".

On another note, I wouldn't mind seeing Jong Te-Se in a South Korean national uniform. But maybe in another life....

Huh? He's not really better than our actual forwards. If any NK, I'd want the young FW from Italy Han Kwang Song.

Just wondering, if Jong were a skilled fullback instead of a striker and in full form, would you reconsider or the political stigma surrounding him too controversial? Or do you feel the same about him as people do towards Victor An? Either one hates him or sympathizes with him. I'd like to know how people feel about them. Recently, I saw a couple of South Korean shows following their lives. One was where Jong was confiding with Lee Keun Ho over a meal about his career and in one scene he was in Pyeongchang with his Korean wife and 2 kids. In another show I saw Victor An walking around a Russian mart with his Korean wife and baby daughter. It looks like both are still drawn to Daehanminguk in some ways.

I understand why Ahn made the choice he did but I don't feel moved enough to embrace him or cheer for him against the ROK athletes.
As for Jong, he is N. Korean and chose to play for DPRK prolly because he knew he wasn't good enuf to make the KNT cut. Again, nothing against him but don't feel particularly inspired by him in any way.

What are you rambling on about? Jong Dae Sae identifies and has given his allegience to the NorKs. His mother’s side of the family are loyalist to the north, and he went to schools established in Japan by the north. His father’s side did not and thus he has a ROK passport. But he chose and believes in the north as his country. So why would you want a player who is a true believer like him?

How the hell is this even a relevant conversation in 2017/18!? Did I pass out in a hot tub time machine and wake back up in 2009/2010?

Kwanghetto or whatever his name is feels obligated to write full paragraphs so he can be seen as smart and knowledgeable since he is a newbie here. Often the case for newbies. Last one was StevenM and he's still trying hard.

The guy is a nutjob and needs to cool it with the weird conundrums or hypotheticals that don't matter.

Can't really say much about this decision other than to stay cautious about it (He's Kim Ho-gon's cousin). Other than the fact that Kim Pan-gon has made a huge impact to Hong Kong Football after having managed both the Hong Kong Senior Team and U-23/Olympic Team respectively, there's really not much to say about him, and neither was his playing career any decent.

The only thing we can do is to carefully observe his work as the Director of the National Team's Managerial Appointments, although I sincerely wish him the best, and I hope he can make better decisions than our previous incompetent Technical Directors; no more sub-par or third rate foreign managers, especially one who has a long history of getting sacked and an overall poor managerial career i.e. a senile fraud like Stielike. And, no more forcing and appointing domestic managers, inexperienced or not, especially those who have no interest in managing the national team. In fact no more going domestic after the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but rather cough up a bit more and hire a decent foreign name.

gg. fking KFA. It's obvious that KHG will tell him what to do/he will ask KHG for "advice". The fact that he's KHG's cousin already implies that KFA is NOT going for any reconstruction.

Well, as I've said before, how well Kim Pan-gon will handle his job, the only thing we can do is to wait and see.

Didnt even know he's KHG's cousin until I saw your post. Now my expectation is down to 0. No, -10000.

I originally thought that they were brothers but it turns out that they're cousins instead.

According to Nikkan Gendai, Halilhodzic wants to manage the KNT, and the reason being is that the KNT fits "his style" lol. I don't mind Halilhozic taking the KNT helm (Another man's trash is another man's treasure.), but take it for a grain of salt considering Nikkan Gendai does post garbage articles.

He's been pandering us since 2014 WC. He was like Korea is better than Algeria before our match (WTF) and he said how we're better than Japan after the Haniljeon...
I wouldn't mind him but it'll be awkward, also KFA and him won't get along...
