I clicked on this video because of Pulisic in the title, but I am pleased to see that Iheanacho still makes the list as the top striker despite his lack of playing time under Guardiola. It now makes sense if he's so highly rated by a UK site that Man City thinks that they can get 20 million Euros for him even with a buy-back clause. It makes it much more of a shame that Pep can't seem to find a role for him. Hopefully he makes a smart choice that sets him up well for the future. My preference would be Dortmund, but he wants to shore up his citizenship which I can't totally fault him for. But if he stays on Man City,... that I will fault him for...

    Hey everyone,
I'm doing my masters in sports management and need participants to take part in a short ten item questionnaire about what our experiences as a fan of african football are. The questionnaire will take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.

    Thanks

Okay... can all Nigerians agree that Francis Uzoho is our keeper... please!?

6'5", 19 years old with the decision-making and composure of a veteran keeper, and the reflexes of a soaking-wet alley-cat...

Daniel Akpeyi, over 10 FVKCING YEARS his senior, looks like he should be learning from Uzoho how to play the game instead of the other way around. One thing that baffles me is that South Africa's PSL isn't a crap league and they usually make decent decisions when they buy abroad... Ezemwa is a better keeper than Akpeyi, so how fvkc is Akpeyi playing for Chippa Utd instead of Eze?? And he's two years younger btw...

Anyway... here's more on the mighty young "Pope" Francis as I dub him...
Deportiva la Coruna... I thank thee for continuing the development of this amazing young wunderkind...

I will be soon making the first highlight video for him very soon... keep tuned in...

    Enyeama who?!

Not to knock him, but even a keeper who enjoyed some of the highs, put in the work that he did and had the 5 year or so run of great form that he did... he was never the pure specimen that this kid is. Only 19, tall enough to head-butt a giraffe, and he's already starting for a La Liga side... and he's going to grow with a group that includes Iwobi, Ndidi, Iheanacho, and defenders like Ola Aina, Ebuehi, even Abdullahi... whoa....

Interesting thing to think about with Brian Idowu's cap with Nigeria. Not really understanding how EU law sees this, would he also lose his EU citizenship or is that something that he could separately apply for since he was still born in the EU? I'd hope someone from an EU nation could clarify. And it isn't like we haven't dealt with this before with Peter Odemwingie and his career turned out fine.

Russia isn't a member of the EU.

What about that kid Boateng! He had a hat trick for Levante today against Barca, helping to ruin Barca's unbeaten streak. Pity he and the rest of Ghana will be watching the WC from home.

Are African stars who go aboard hurting the domestic leagues or rightfully helping themselves and the game by gaining exposure for themselves and their countries...

Well, you know how it is. If you wanna play at the top level, you can't stay in Africa and that doesn't only apply to football.

Why else are you a fan of Arsenal and not your local team ?

Talented people going abroad, returning home and putting the money and experiences they made to good use are one of the greatest assets African countries have.

So true brother! Africans from various countries from around the continent are lighting up the major leagues from England, France, Spain and Italy, Germany and even the MLS and Gulf leagues. It's good to see now only if Ethiopia could qualify for the WC all would be right in the world lol
