Well then. That "easy" goal I was talking about earlier in the thread was the start of a good streak.

    Keep it up Bacca.

Para los que aca pensaban que la palabra de montella, era la palabra de dios y que bacca era el culpable de todo.

El "Super Milan" en el que su hombre que metio mas de 30 goles en las ultimas dos temporadas no cbabia..

He should have had 2, missed a sitter not long after he scored his first. Either way he looks lively and good to see him back playing and scoring.

Even if he is missing he is still on a good streak.
I hope it continues and he gets more confidence.

Yeah actually there are rumours of his return.

Milan isnt failing because of bacca is gone....actually they have a good team now ...including the non goals silva and kalinic..........but if milan and bacca were struggled was because montella....and people here repeated like parrot that montella was god,, bacca bad...

Since junior he have missing sitters priblems.

People here are more happy because the misisng because of his goal.

Hope he makes it back to the NT and ready for the WC. The new options just don’t put the ball in the back of the net enough.

Muriel seems to be his replacement but Bacca is much better

Duvan is Jackson’s replacement. He had interesting attributes but def not the goal scorer that Jackson was

Sad that Córdoba is having a slow year after they spent so much money on him and none of the Portuguese strikers are doing too well either

Muriel is more a winger than a poacher so the replacement for Bacca in my opinion is still missing. The other thing is that because of his characteristics It will be tough to find him a place in this team. We aren't a counterattacking team and Bacca is more adept to that kind of Game, he isn't a great collective player, but he is great at getting passes between the lines.

In my opinion he Will be on the final roster if he keeps scoring and Will depend mainly on it, but his role will continue being a backup.

Bacca going back to Milan I don't think would be good for him. He needs games and confidence and at Villareal he's assured that, Milan isn't losing because of no Bacca, Montella isn't doing a good job and isn't finding the right way to set up his team with lots of new players. Kalinic/Silva/Cutrone haven't been bad.

Bacca won't be a starter for us, he never really worked amazingly well with Falcao but I can see him as a backup for Falcao, currently Falcao/Muriel/Bacca/Zapata maybe Teo are likely options for WC squad with hopefully Imo one of Roger Martinez or Borja hopefully getting it together from now until the summer to challenge. Muriel also plays wide, so its good to have options that offer something different, and if we need goals late in a game Bacca is the best poacher other then Falcao. Bacca when he's on is a great finisher but just never is going to add a ton more, but hopefully he regains his form and if Falcao gets injured he'll get his chance to start Imo. Borja or Roger Martinez if they can find form would offer more outside of just goals, so I'm really hoping they can figure it out by this summer.

Silva , Kalinic and Cutrone have been mediocre and worse than bacca last season at this time

The rumour talk about a return of bacca for next season.

The only reason bacca left milan was because of montella and he wont be there always.

Actually with bacambu, sansone ...the competence in villareal is more difficult than in milan.

That was nice. He knew the keeper was kinda in no man's land there and very intelligently turned around and crossed quickly.

    Hope he keeps it up.

what are you trying to say? you are comparing Bacca's # of goals over his whole NT career vs. Teo's # of goals over the past couple of years? that's a bit of an unfair comparison....

i think it's pretty unanimous that Teo's 14WCQ magic partnership with Falcao is a thing of the past. Teo has been extremely underwhelming in his 18WCQ appearances. which would explain why Muriel is as frustrated as the rumors claim to be.

Pekerman never really got the best out of strikers like Jackson and Bacca when they were hot, but he made things work with Teo in that 2nd striker role.

hopefully Bacca can be in a position to really produce for us off the bench or in a potential starter role should we revert back to a 4-2-2-2. Bacca was a decent producer for us (three 18WCQ goals and two 16CA goals), but Bacca (as well as Borja and Duvan) really need to use these two upcoming games to earn a place for Russia, b/c it's quite possible one of these three may not go...

No just saying Bacca is In the top 10 scorers for Colombia and you guys make hiM sound like Jose Moreno or that black dude 10 years ago from Junior who only had one leg started with an A.

bacca only scored in two matches of wcq. (bolviia and ecuador)

another 3 or 2 in copa centenario....

indeed he have underperformed a lot of in official matches.

He assited in some matches this wcq

Teo career have been much succesful in national team.

If you try to compare....watch the matches. follow the team...not repeat nonsense fact

Bacca was given a shot to start after the WC when we turned to a shit team for 3 years. He was injured all the World Cup but the Brazil game.

I am not argueing Bacca V Teo. I am just saying Bacca isn’t as bad as many of you make it seem.

    Our current NT Falcao(26), James(21), Teo(15), Bacca(13)

Bacca is not bad but he did get into a bad funk where he was missing too many chances for Colombia that he should of buried. Including a penalty.

every person that know about fooball a little cant say that bacca is a bad player.

only falcao has more goals than him in europe and probably he will arrive to the 130 goals there. awesome career

but come on he was elected as our goal man for this cycle and only scored ecuador and bolivia the worst teams of the tournament....he undeperformed. Yeah for me he was important in the wcq he made important assist to james and cardona (last minute agaisnt paraguay)

but he wasted his chance..........actually i dont know if i stay with borja or him for the wc

I meant NT wise. I feel when he was finally given a shot on the NT our team turned to shit. We lost Zuniga, Armero and Falcao was broken. We have Bacca a shot when we had 0 MF and our wingbacks didn’t add anything to our attack. Not saying Bacca should start but he is much much better then Muriel and I can’t see 4 forwards better then him for him not to be used at the WC at least as 4th choice.

Bacca failed a lot of situations , no fault of midfielders or right backs....just between bolivia, venezuela , paraguay and uruguay he failed at leats clear 10 options goals. including a penalty
    .
Muriel is wing not cf as bacca. bad comparison. Muriel in less matches
