That ref kept the game going for too long. 1 corner over injury time is OK ... but not 2.

Yeah it was two extra corners . The last one he called a foul and not the end of the game. Where do they get these clowns ?

Brazil did win the match but Germany did look scary as an opposition.......Before the Brazilian equaliser it looked as if Germany was destined to win with their physical play and speedy attacks.......

It was weird. The ref was American. In fact, all three were from USA.
Anyway, Brazil should win as it is almost like playing at home for the team (maybe even better because the team has all the support but no added pressure that comes from playing at home).

Brazil's U-17 WC coach gave the Kolkata crowd a 10 out of 10 for their support. He said, "if permitted, I will give them more than 10. We are looking forward to come back here again on Saturday (to play the final on October 28)."

He added "congratulations to you for the organisation, for the brilliant stadium you have here... All the facilities, the changing room, the pitch everything was brilliant. It was huge for us. It was special to play here."

Hope they go back there to play the final. The support would likely be no less that what the first team would get at the Maracana.

Great interview in Portuguese with Tite. In it, he affirms he views Brazil as a favorite, says he never spoke about the 7-1 with his players, admits he and Scolari no longer talk to each other, and that even he, a very rich man living in great luxury and comfort in Rio, struggles with the corruption and crime.

People of Kolkata are always either Brazil or Argentina fans.....You can expect a vociferous crowd in the finals with 60k plus supporters giving all their love to the yellow

Tite is very good. He took the team at a bad position because Dunga wasn’t a best coach for this group. Now he is qualified and he needs to try new players with different systems. From what I see so far and I don’t think that he wants to open his list.

Yes, there's a sharp divide between Brazilian and Argie supporters. There are more Brazilian supporters I think. However, there's enough of each group to fill the entire stadium any time these teams play. Apparently, more than 1 million fans wanted to buy tickets to the Brazil-England U-17 semi final!!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5012171/ONE-MILLION-fans-try-buy-U17-World-Cup-semi-tickets.html

Haha. We are sniffing around. Can't believe it considering the start to the season. Just got to beat Corinthians head to head in the remaining games. [emoji16]

Again, Marcelo having terrible games. Frequently caught out of position. Tite will need to reign him in. Casemiro also starting a bad habit of trying of carrying the ball forward. It's how Barca scored the 2nd goal a couple of weeks ago and he was doing it again today.

I think Tite will have it under control. Probably more of a result of Madrid being a mess, but still don't like these bad habits developing.
