starters v. rijeka: donnarumma; mussachio, bonucci, romagnoli; abate, Locatelli, Calhanoglu, Kessié, Borini; Cutrone, André Silva some of these guys should have been saved for the weekend against roma. this is asinine. kessie at least needs a break. same could be said for bonucci and abate to a lesser extent.
montella has to rotate the team. these guys can't play 5 games in 15 days. it's insanity. that being said, we should have had this game on ice after the second goal. perhaps the fatigue led to carelessness and nonchalance. it's great to see cutrone get the winner. he and silva are exciting prospects. hopefully we can hold on to both of them over the next few years to see them grow. sounds like borini had a great match. no one was excited to see him signed, but he's been valuable so far this season.

that wasn't good. there was no width. there was no service. there was no creativity. there was no apparent plan of attack. it was just slamming into a wall of defenders and hoping one would get through. without suso this team struggles to create chances. calhanoglu can't be the main guy. montolivo is a waste of space. where was rodriguez in the attack? totally absent. overall, it was a really disappointing performance. really frustrating to not see any progress after 15(?) games.
Same scoreline as the first game too. Cutrone and Silva are getting lots of playing time. This is good. They're very similar in size and touch, got a brace each. Ex Milanista Cristante puts two past Everton in a same scoreline for Atalanta. Good day for coefficients.
