Shocking news coming from the Challenge today. Busan IPark manager Cho Jin-ho died of cardiac arrest today. Rest In Peace. #kleague— Korea Football News (@KORFootballNews) October 10, 2017 Can't believe. Sangju Sangmu did the best season in history under him by playing a very nice football. This year with Busan did an excellent job.

Gyeongnam are officialy promoted after 2-1 win against Seoul E-Land. However, their coach Kim Jong-Boo have not celebrated too much in respect of Cho Jin-Ho. Very nice gesture by Geongnam manager. http://sports.news.naver.com/kfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=139&aid=0002081888&redirect=false Lee Jeong-hyeop dedicated his goal to him.
LOL probably not. Gwangju is a big city and only professional club in the city. Even if K-League is dying, Gwangju wouldn't fold. Gwangju FC need to make their football club political and cultural, to put more passion into the club.
I don't hate Gwangju, just Gwangju FC. I hated them since they did the relegation thing and they were such a shitty team and was rightfully relegated. I think they were a very recent team as well at that time, before they were the military team (irony). Since then I just never liked but but they got promoted and I was waiting for the day they would be relegated again. Never really happened and just watching them play in a huge stadium with no fans was such an eyesore. I'm just glad they are relegated again and I think they are a poor excuse for a football team.
they never got relegated as a military team. Sangju has been the military team since 2009-2010 (?). They only got relegated once since the formation of the Classic/Challenge. Not their fault, just no money to build out a good squad. But yeah, they are a poor excuse for a football team but Gwangju is the 6th largest city in the country and hotbed of liberalism. They aren't going anywhere.
Heard they are having a hard time funding the team, not paying the players on time just saying. Gwangju should just focus on playing stick and stone.
So true for many Challenge teams. Just like many of these lower league teams, Gwangju should follow suit and just dissolve. True for many other teams actually but Gwangju always represented everything I hated about local government team.
Following 15 players will play for Asan Mugunghwa FC for 21 months from next year to serve their military duty. #kleague pic.twitter.com/lJojSKa6Ck— Korea Football News (@KORFootballNews) October 23, 2017 HIB sigh...
That team is good enough to get them promoted to Classic but not good enough for them to stay in Classic
