Came across this kid the other day. He has an italian passport but was born in Canada. He has played against Manchester City academy, Colo Colo academy and just recently he has been to Chile for a training stint with La Serena. He was asked to stay and play with the academia de la serena in the La Serena Cup which he ended up winning with the team scoring once and assisting twice in the finals. Kid seems like he's a raw talent. The video doesn't show his true talent as you get a better glimpse of him at the game. Hopefully the La Serena Cup finals was taped and will be posted so we can see his participation in the match. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy and share if you liked it.
Yes it is great news for him to be given the chance to join MLS sooner. It may not be the 100 percent thing of having all Canadians be considered Domestic through MLS, but if it is given to the young gunz and they can grow their game as domestic players that should be a plus. In all CPL or Canadian D1 League is a must to help push the program and game for CMNT and maybe CWNT as well in future. To conclude hope to see more CGA given in the future perhaps 5 each year and maybe more if a surplus occurs.

Kwame Awuah went 16th to New York City FC... Brian Wright went 20th to New England Revolution... Adonijah Reid went 40th to FC Dallas... Shamit Shome went 41st to Montreal Impact... The first two round of draft is over and four of the five Canadians have been chosen. I do believe Chris Nanco should get drafted as well, because he did show some worth during the Combine. I'm actually excited for Reid to have joined FC Dallas, my feelings are they've been good at developing young players and I am hoping that the same will be done for Reid. I believe a year or two in USL under the tutelage of FCD will be great way for him to develop. Awuah I was actually quite surprised that he was selected higher than everyone else, but great to see that he was taken. I am wondering where he will play when it comes to NYCFC. I would not be shocked if he is sent to a USL team. Wright is in an interesting situation with the NER. He will be playing alongside Aguadelo and pershaps learn from him quite a bit. I do think he is someone that should make the MLS team and slowly gain playing time as the season goes on. Shamit Shome to Montreal is great and I hope he is given the chance to grow with the team. I do think he will be sent to USL, but would not be surprised if he shows his worth during preseason. I am hoping that MI do put in the work and develop him as a player. He should come good in a year or two in the MLS. What are some of your thoughts?
I'm surprised that neither the Whitecaps or TFC took any of the Canadian players. I'm assuming that they're satisfied with the quality of players coming through their youth system.
TFC management said they didnt select Shome because they had a glut at CM and didn't want to block any of their academy players. I want our players spread out to as many clubs as possible. Especially since all these guys now count as domestics.
Lemme help you guys out: You have Larin, Tabla, Davies and now Chapman and Edwards as a nice young nucleus, potentially. I'm sure I'm missing a few.
Well officially can add Alphonso Davies in the young gunz..... Hope all of us can be patient with his growth in the game. He is young and will need time to really get it all together. AD time to call up Tabla and get him on this squad tell him about dreams of making Canada great together and with the other players....
Future is bright for Liam Miller 18 years old Steven Gerrard gets off to winning ways as Liverpool U18 manager with emphatic 7-0 defeat of Burton Albion http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ard-wins-opening-game-Liverpool-U18-boss.html A promising young striker if he keeps this up at Liverpool and makes the main club one day.
Fantastic run from Liam Miller for Liverpool U18. https://streamable.com/0jvua The future is bright for team Canada
The Guardian: Next Generation 2017: 60 of the best young talents in world football https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...0-of-the-best-young-talents-in-world-football Alphonso Davies made the list At just 16, Alphonso Davies has achieved some remarkable things at senior level. In July he became the youngest player to score at the Gold Cup at 16 years, eight months and five days old. The hard-working, delightfully technical and scarily fast Canadian was also named the Best Young Player at the tournament, where he picked up the Golden Boot for his three goals. Capable of playing across the attacking line, Davies excels at moving into pockets of space between the full-back and centre-back, where his direct running towards goal or his willingness to stretch the play wide can be factors in developing dangerous attacks. Hopefully he keeps working hard and free as he grows his game in MLS and in future Europe.... He's a good talent for CMNT and hope he will help convince others to join Canada ie Tabla really....
Another gem from Liam Miller at Liverpool U18. Never thought I'd say that Canada's future looks promising up front All the way, on his own! 🔥Watch the second half between #LFCU18s and Burnley live on @LFCTV GO: https://t.co/QpezLM1rbu pic.twitter.com/6SsMUppkf1— Liverpool FC (@LFC) October 6, 2017
That's a nice goal and run by Miller... The moment he makes the bench for Liverpool, OZ should call him into CMNT. If he can make the bench and at some play for Liverpool he's good for CMNT. That's for damn sure.... Imagine him and Davies at their very best of course Miller has the edge being in Europe, but that's doesn't mean anything unless the player wants it all....
Reports floating around suggest that @ManUtd have invited #CanMNT and @WhitecapsFC wonderkid Alphonso Davies (@AlphonsoDavies) to train with the English Giants during the month of January. This would pave the way for a long rumoured big money move for the now 17 year old. #MLS— Canucks Abroad (@Canucks_Abroad) December 9, 2017
Howdy y'all, just wondering on how Alex Comsia is viewed by Canadians? I didn't have any idea he was a Canadian until yesterday, but watching him the past couple of years has convinced me he can play pro at some level.
