Century's Best, I know you almost never predict argentine teams to win, but you predicted this game would be a 2-2? like, really dude? not even 1-0 for River?:ROFLMAO:

I still think Roberto Mosquera is a mastermind, although a bipolar one.

Last week he was the tactical mastermind, this week he is the how to get smashed mastermind, like Peru vs Pais Vasco a few years back.

Look, I know I was out of line with some of my comments, call me a Trump or whatever, I recognize it was wrong...

But I was right when I said River would destroy Wilstermann in Nuñez. Though I must say, my highest expectation was a 4 or 5-0, maybe a 5 or 6-1... But 8-0 is just magical. It was one of the best nights of my life.

Again, I am sorry for the people I offended, but don't let that take away from what River did tonight. This team eliminated continentals giants such as Mineiro and Peñarol, and tonight they looked like an amateur side.

I would also reiterate that this win means River has the most points in the history of this competition and most goals scored. Que lo cuenten como quieran VAMOS RIVER

Let's keep socio-economics, race, immigration, poverty, cultural differences, etc. out of this. We are South Americans - all of us come from countries which have things we do not like.

Frankly, I'm rather conservative, although I was born in Brazil. I was actually banned from this website's politics forum because some folks were too sensitive and couldn't handle what they thought were non-PC views I hold.

Your team did well tonight. It will now face Lanús, who equaled the 2-0 score from last week and on PKs, ousted San Lorenzo. Good for them - it's their first semifinal appearance, although it's unfortunate it got this far because Chapecoense's management made the infantile error of having an ineligible player play.

Lanús, I might add, has home field and therefore the first leg will take place at your team's venue. In the other leg, Grêmio will decide vs. Barcelona in Porto Alegre.

This is the furthest Lanus has ever gotten in the Libertadores

    River - Lanus // Barcelona - Gremio .. very interesting semifinal match-ups

Sadly, I don't see any of the four not getting destroyed by Real Madrid eventually.
