I had a 1-and-a-half hour session alternating between the Speedgrips and the Zero Glide ones and I wasn't that impressed. They were a little bit thicker and padded, so yeah they are a little bit more comfortable. The non-slip feature seems to improve as your feet sweat, but initially they are less non-slip than the sticky Zero Glide.
Overall I think looking elsewhere would be better. I might get the currexSole next.

Hey everyone, i'm new around here so I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this but hopefully someone can help me. I saw some pretty good deals on a website called soccerscene.co.uk (http://www.soccerscene.co.uk/) and was wondering if anyone knew if the website is legit and selling legit boots.
Any help would e greatly appreciated :)

Soccer scene was open for decades on Carnaby Street in London, always sold loads of rare shirts and other stuff, great shop!

I think eventually it closed down and got bought by Sports Direct... so for a while the stock was similar to what you'll get on the Sports Direct website. Not 100% about this but I'm fairly certain.

Just had a quick look and there are some top tier boots on there that sports direct don't sell, so maybe they just sell some of the top tier boots on the Soccer Scene website rather than the Sports Direct one. Can anyone else confirm this?

I had an email back from Adidas regarding Soccer Scene and they basically said there is a high chance they are selling counterfeit products as they investigated and found:
    -spelling mistakes on the website
    -Lack of a telephone number
-Incredibly wide range of countries that they ship to and suggesting they are making products and selling them from China
-Lack of description of the products

I can see both sides of it tbh as the prices were too good to be true as some boots were priced at over 50% off the retail price.

Last time I was in London (2015) the SportScene there was gone. I'm remember seeing SoccerScene hangers being used in one of the SportsDirects that was nearby.

I'm only going off the information Adidas supplied me but I wasn't too sure if they were right or not. Doesn't matter too much now as I used the Adidas 50% promotion and bought a pair of boots anyway :)

Hi, I'new here. My magistas x finale 2 tf broke yesterday and I want to buy a new turf boots. I'm looking forward to mercurialx finale 2 tf and yet not released predator precision tf, which i prefere because they don't have that shiny look, but I'm afraid they're gonna cost a fortune! Should I buy mercurials or wait for predators? Thanks.

Old toothbrush and cold water. Stuff them full of newspaper when done cleaning.

Wet microfiber cloth works good for me. For scuffs on synthetics those magic eraser sponges work on most.

couldn't really find anywhere to post this so i decided the general section would be best.

Speedgrip's come up witht heir own version of the grip socks. still in early backer stage so 29.99 is still a fair price. Didn't try on the speedgrip insoles, but if the socks are slightly padded like the NikeGrip one's I'd be glad to try em out.

I wish they come up with thick and thin ones for these in the future. Same with the Speedgrip insoles, I hope they release a thicker version. I find it too thin. I do regularly use it on my Morelia II though. Very good product, I just hope it was thicker.

I recently ordered a soccer ball from soccer.com and was looking through the catalog they included...all of their kangaroo boots are now listed as premium leather, even Copas. I wonder if that's to get around the California laws?

I'm in CA and it is hit and miss with them. I can get some KL shoes but not the others. Even some non leather shoes came back as can't ship to CA. I talked to few people over there and they say it is their policy not to ship leather shoes to CA but can't explain why I can get some KL shoes and can't get synthetic ones :-(

Another issue that pisses me off sooooooo much these days with soccer, com is getting brand new shoes in replacement box. If I paid over 150 for brand new shoes, then I should get one in it's original box and package. They just say if you don't like it, return it :-(

    their service gone downhill lately

What are everyone's thoughts on playing in limited edition, collectible or hard to find discontinued models? I've never really been a collector and I've worn every boot I've ever bought unless I end up selling them before I have a chance to wear them. Last year I played a season in my black adidas Profis and then sold them on. I manage to find a BNIB second pair of black Profis, but haven't been able to bring myself to play in them because I don't think I'll find another pair. I'm leaning towards playing in them and retiring them before they wear out, though. Boots are made to played in, right?

Definitely play in them. Nice boots are nice boots because they are nice to play in. Its rubbish boots that should be left pristine.

Hey guys, heading to London, Berlin, Rome and Paris in a week and was wondering if there were any cool shops to head to or if the scene is dead with sportsdirect etc. I remember going to heaps of football shops when I was a kid in London, but last time I went there wasn't all that much.

Hopefully I just missed all the good spots and you guys know better ones!!

    Thanks in advance!

PDS London is pretty cool, but most of the independent stores in London are gone and the city is completely dominated by Sports Direct.

NSH Football in Paris was a cool little store I went to when I was there a few years back. http://nshfootball.fr/ They carried Pantofola D'Oro boots last time I was there and had a decent collection of Copa Football apparel.

I haven't been to Berlin in years but it looks like 11teamsportsde has their flagship store in Berlin. They are pretty large company with quite a big selection of product so I'd say that's worth a look for sure!

Edit: Just realised you said Rome too. I didn't to any stores last time I was there but it looks like they have a few but mostly they seem to sell just kits.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey guys.

I am interested in playing indoor soccer, and at the moment, I'm struggling a bit with choosing the right shoes. So far I've looked through the recommendation lists on the internet, and one list in particular caught my eye. https://thesportgurus.com/5-honest-reviews-of-the-best-indoor-soccer-shoes/

Anybody have these models, or something similar and would like to share their thoughts? Would really appreciate it.
