Matuidi to PSG for 18M looks like something unbelievable on the current transfer market, amazing price and quality for transfer like that

    He's 30 and he's dropped in form since 2014ish.

Blaise Matuidi will be remembered for his heart and work ethic during his time with PSG that he deserved, he also such a great teammate as well, definitely will be missed by us and the fans.

I'd say Rabiot is the reason they were willing to cut Matuidi loose. Mama's boy has shown some class lately. All of the work rate of Matuidi with a bit more quality.

Paris Saint-Germain's Goncalo Guedes to join Valencia on loan - sources

PARIS -- Goncalo Guedes is set to join Valencia on loan from Paris Saint-Germain shortly, according to sources close to both clubs.

The Portugal international was left out of the PSG squad for Sunday's Neymar-inspired 6-2 thrashing of Toulouse and it was widely reported that it was due to his imminent inclusion in a deal for AS Monaco's Kylian Mbappe.

Suggestions that he is on his way out of Parc des Princes -- temporarily -- are accurate but the destination is Valencia in Spain and not the principality.

According to both sources, PSG and Los Che are in advanced discussions regarding the versatile 20-year-old attacking talent and a season-long loan deal without an option to buy should be the outcome of those talks.

The former Benfica man has made just eight Ligue 1 appearances, only one as a member of the starting XI, since his move from the Portuguese giants back in January.

Where FFP meets FFS (for f--ks sake).
    https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/aug/27/paris-saint-germain-agree-deal-kylian-mbappe-monaco
"Kylian Mbappé set to join PSG on loan with option to buy for €155m"

"Paris Saint-Germain have reached a deal with Monaco to sign Kylian Mbappé on loan for one season with an option to sign the 18-year-old for €155m (£143m) plus a series of add-ons that could see the transfer cost a total €190m (£175m)."

See the article for more re. UEFA & FFP implications. Maybe they plan to pay a big fine and just consider it a cost of doing business and/or are betting a UCL win (or even appearance in the final) will bring in enough to balance the books?

Lots of stories to choose from at various sources so I won't link anything but UEFA has began their 'investigation' of PSG under FFP but most likely bowing to pressure from Spain (and others) they want to start getting the facts well before the fiscal year closes out.

    PSG 4-3-3 formation

Neymar - Cavani (Di Maria) - Mbappe (Lucas)

Draxler (Lo Celso) - Motta (Rabiot) - Verratti (Pastore)

Kurzawa (Berchiche) - Silva (Kimpembe) - Marquinhos - Alves (Meunier)

    Areola (Trapp)
    Absolutely stacked !

And don't forget Nkunku and Ben Arfa

p.s. Rabiot is probably first choice ahead of Draxler

Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler could be part of PSG's January fire sale

After spending around €400 million to bring in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over the summer, Paris Saint-Germain are now looking to recoup some of that enormous outlay with a host of January sales.

Angel Di María is thought to lead the list of potential departures, after being linked with a move to Barcelona, and Mundo Deportivo says the Argentine could be joined by at least five teammates.

Julian Draxler, Lucas Moura and Javier Pastore all are apparently surplus to requirements, along with goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, who has lost his No. 1 spot to Alphonse Areola this season.

Arsenal are known to be long-term admirers of Draxler, while Moura was once a target for Manchester United. The Premier League leaders might take another look at the Brazilian, as Jose Mourinho searches for a winger to add to his squad.

I really really feel that it will be a huge mistake for PSG if they let go of Julian Draxler.

He is still young and have ton of potential for the future, in addition I really like him in this PSG squad.

We need to keep him to grow together for the team, he is an important figure and not a surplus to this team.

Yea.. But we need to sell players that hold some significant value to combat "FFP". Lucas n Pastore don't hold much value. Di Maria does, and so does Draxler.. Gotta make that sacrifice.

Look like Spurs will buy Lucas Moura from PSG for £25 million.

Lucas just never developed past what he was as a teenager. Unbelievable ability but his game intelligence never matured.
