First of all , the Mani guy has already accomplished more despite being blind and disabled, than you or most Saudis will accomplish in your life time with an able body. So you should actually feel sorry about yourself.

Secondly, if that was really me, I would have reported your post and you would have been red-carded by now for posting other people's personal information which is against the TOS here. That's not me though. And guess what, two of the super-moderators here actually know me in real life, so I don't need to lie about who I am, trust me. So yeah, keep looking for more clues online Mr. Stalker. As it is, you're just way off.

    Liar! That's you!

hahaha now you got your ass handed to you, you try to get the mods into it?

If you can't handle the heat, then don't play with fire. Don't be a scumbag to begin with.

Sorry loser. Hope your mom gives you more food to calm the nerves.

Oh no, detective "Great Green" is onto me. I feel so much heat now. I'm surprised you didn't assume I was Mani the Prophet or India's foreign minister when you were googling Mani. :D

MODS, since WC Qualification is over hence, I suggest that this group should be closed now otherwise, we will go to unnecessary discussions / arguments...

Final Note, I think choking of other teams in regulation matches is the main cause of other teams not qualifying ahead of Saudi... Australia choked against Thailand in both matches big time, and also had a draw with Japan in home ground as well as with Iraq in away match...
Australia only had 1 loss as compared to other teams losses who qualified but Australia choked big time due to 4 draws... So, it's not Saudi got lucky, I believe it's Australia to blame themselves as they were just getting over-confident in some matches but actually choking big time. Australia struggled in matches that were considered free scoring and free 3 points game... Iraq away, Japan at home, Thailand away... these matches were the choking of Australia OR may be the other team played better than Aussies...

I think this is closer to the truth, with the proviso that they played as good as us rather than better. I don't believe we choked, which to me is under performing because of pressure. I think we played as good as we can play. None of our draws were what I would call unlucky draws where we were the better side but made some mistakes due to pressure we put on ourselves. We finished 3rd in the group because that's where we deserved to finish based on how we played. If we want to qualify for Russia we need to improve on what we have done the last 12 months.

To be fair and not disappointing Aussies, they will go down in sometime more considering when teams will come to know how to play them and I believe its slowly changing and balance will shift in near future...

KSA got handed the wins against Thailand and Iraq by those penalties. Otherwise the road to the World Cup would be much more difficult for Saudi Arabia.

Somehow this has become the most unpleasant subforum on the site as rivalries-type posts have been creeping in for awhile now. There's no active moderator but I am working on changing that, and in the meantime I will try to address some of the more problematic posts of recent vintage.

Don't ever dox someone on the site though, else you'll immediately be shown the door.

What about the Thailand match then? Do you think that has been a legit penalty? :cautious: You even got a penalty against UAE for a very soft foul

That's so not true at all. Your team choked big time against Saudi. The penalties are 100% correct. I guess you need to explain to your players what a penalty is. Stop crying. We are in the world cup! You were a nice gas station to collect points from no more no less.

Marwijk earned every penny. And it was only a matter of time before we are back. We have talented players, and the youth breath football.

But you? You man, I hope your team is with us in every qualification. We need your easy points.

The format of AFC World Cup qualifiers will be changed from WC qualifiers 2026 due to WC expansion. What do you guys think would be the best format?

    My preferred format:

    46 nations at the moment

1st round: the bottom 12 teams of FIFA ranking play a play off match in two legs. The winners join to other 30 teams.

2nd round: 9 groups of 4 teams where the top two teams of each group advance to the final round.

3rd round: 3 groups of 6 teams where the winner and runner up of each group advance to the WC and third place team of each group play against each other in a group of 3 teams in neutral venue where the winner and runner up advance to the WC and third team qualifies to the inter continental play off. The host and qualified 8 teams along with the team advanced to the inter continental play off qualify to the Asian Cup.

This sucks! No need to commercialize the world cup! 32 teams is perfect already.
