I don't care how we play, let's just get the win and 3 points. Performance tuning can be worked on after WCQs are over.
I know that many here and most netizens in Korea are saying that we will lose and that we won't make it to the WC, but I think we have a legitimate chance of winning this. There is a lot at stake and the players know its do or die time. Also I'm sure playing in front of 60,000 Koreans in red at Seoul World Cup Stadium will give them even more motivation to play well. As a supporter of the KNT, through the good times and bad, I will always believe in our team and cheer for them. 대~한민국!
right now we are tied with japan 2006 and australia 2010 for highest ever points/game in the final round of asian qualifying at 2.5. if we win this game most likely we will also beat syria and reach 2.6 and have the record.
hey guys how to watch the match in afreeca tv? read here; http://news.chosun.com/site/data/html_dir/2017/08/31/2017083101322.html i live in aus and it might say 'this stream is not available in ur region' or stuff like that do i need to register first too?
match is nearly sold out. new coach hiring, lee donggook, and a lot of coverage from mbc/kbs/sbs despite not having broadcasting rights gave a lot of promotion. world cup is on the line
Yeah, KFA really pushed hard to fill the stadium since its do or die and need to give players the most support possible. Even Cha Bum Kun said that in crucial times like this that he was gonna be supporting in person too. Also 붉은악마 is launching their 20th anniversary scarves and bringing in 1000 members (double the usual) in for this match and will start cheering and chanting an hour before kick-off to support KNT and intimidate Iran, and KFA is providing a red t-shirt to everyone at the match to fill the stadium with red. Last I read there were over 55,000 tickets sold as well. Lee Young Pyo, Ahn Jung Hwan, Lee Chun Soo have all promoted the match too, so I do believe it will be a packed 60,000 match.
not yet. STY is keeping that under wraps because it will show who will be in the match or not since 3 of them wont be in the match day squad. so i assume we will know it in about 4 ½ hours or so when we find out the starting lineup
Why ? To feel the disappointment into Korean broadcaster's voice in case we lose ? BwinTv, I guess. KFA have already sold 40 000 tickets and almost as much supporters as against Brazil are expected. Most of us won't be at the stadium so it would be complicated to throw bottles from Canada/US/Europe to Korea, haha.
I reckon jessypjs, chingoo, marcos etc. are not Korean but those who are Korean need to check the posting history of Iranian members before you engage in friendly banters with them. Juvenile defiance against older generations and Korean nationalism is one thing but I cannot imagine any excuse to be friends with foreigners who regularly call Koreans "gooks" and post pictures of starving NK children to mock Korean people. I am not inciting a flame war or anything like that. I am just saying to stop it before you look ridiculous and spineless. I cannot imagine that even Tex will give you a hard time for refusing to talk to Persian members. Not agitation or war-mongering but just restraint and decorum. Valkyrie is an example worse than Mani actually. He is a typical example of Iranian youth who thinks by being "Aryan" Persians are connected to Germans. Read what he had been saying about Koreans.
group of iranian spectators threw metal bolts towards the korean bench last year in azadi so quit the bickering
Looks like KI won't be playing according to this article http://sports.news.naver.com/kfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=047&aid=0002160900
This situation makes me think of Football Manager game, when all your keys players, as if by magic, get injured before a crucial game.
