Even though the atmosphere isn't close to European basketball standards, atmospheres become intense in close games, giving home teams an advantage.

Also, in the NBA, it's rare to only play one or two games in row on the road. Most road trips are around 3-5 games long, and the traveling can be tiring.

Thanks man. Enjoyed the victory for sure.

Hopefully we can continue and win 4 more with this core. This is just the beginning.

Nice...And yeah 4 more seems quite possible with that core. I wonder if any of the other teams will try to stack their team with more star power to counter that..cause if they don't, not sure anyone will come even close.

Yep. Pretty much every team is scrambling atm trying to find a solution/formula to beat the Warriors. Cavs are willing to break up their big 3 to add one of PG/Butler/Melo but the way their cap situation is set up it might get tricky. Houston and San Antonio will try to bolster up too I assume, the Clippers just hired one of the Warriors top advisors Jerry West (the logo) to help them build a team. Lot of rumors going around that Lebron will leave Clevaland for one of the LA teams as well. Interesting shit going on in the NBA right now.

I'd say 4 more is very optimistic. Something will happen in the meantime, either a crucial injury to GS in the playoffs (Durant has had issues in the past, and so has Curry) or some superteam will emerge somewhere or GS will simply regress. And you need to be hungry for a long time and avoid any type of infighting. Even though the cap is growing, eventually all of those guys will demand more and more money, which might affect the ability to keep that team together and maintain depth.

With that said, I think 2 more titles is probably a good bet.

They are pretty deep and so doing something similar to what Bulls did isn't unrealistic imo. They are at 2 now, so 3-4 more to be near or at that level..I don't know, they'd have to have a ton of injuries not to or some team would have to be just as stacked.

I don't think it requires multiple guys being injured. Without Durant, the Cavs would beat them, IMO. Heck, they beat them last year because of a stupid suspension to Green. The Warriors aren't as deep as they were in previous years (which was required to get Durant). And Curry, Igoudala, Livingston will need to be re-signed, which then will put them near or over the cap, and then they'll be in the same position as the Cavs are now, unable to sign FAs. When you have a team with a number of great players, it adds up and you sacrifice depth.

The Bulls dynasty was in a different era with different rules, and a couple expansion teams that made things easier in the regular season. They caught the Lakers and Pistons at the end of their dynasties, they never faced a great team in the Finals, and happened to have the greatest player of all time, with a great number two, and the best coach of all time. And many would argue you had a league that recognized the potential of promoting Jordan as much as possible on the global scale, protecting him on the court and off the court.

It might happen and they win 6 or more titles. But unforeseen things happen.

Wolves might actually be pretty good next season. Traded with the bulls for Jimmy butler.

He was a part of a really good Kentucky backcourt along with De'Aaron Fox. Dude can score and will be a good compliment to Kemba Walker in the backcourt. Scoring machine but a streaky shooter, but when he gets hot watch out. Had that one game against UNC where he dropped 47 pts or something.

Watching us play against Armenia - I've seen better quality basketball with higher intensity on playgrounds.

Musa next to probably the 1st or 2nd pick in the 2018 draft, Luka Doncic. Same age, about the same height. Musa desperately needs to bulk up.

Always seeing people write that Doncic is the much better prospect and Musa might not make the transition at all to the NBA. Usually what I see is that Musa can't defend, is awkward, not athletic and has a poor shot. Kind of strange watching him score so much against grown men almost twice his age and read those criticism, especially when the "better prospects" are only managing single digit points and minutes.

Which prospects? They don't think he'll be able to score when he gets to the NBA as he can't get by his man when they are good defenders, like France's Frank Ntilikina (who was just drafted to the NBA). I think his shot will be fine, and hopefully he can gain weight and strength as he's only 18, but definitely needs more go-to moves because his first step is actually decent.

It's about the "upside." It's not what you do know, it's about what scouts think you'll do a couple years from now. It's not an exact science and scouts are wrong all the time. There are plenty of juniors and seniors with great stats in college that are drafted after freshmen with average stats.

Every year people say prospects have to bulk up and gain muscle. No shit, they're 18-year olds who have played basketball their whole lives, they're not training for Olympic weightlifting. He should fill out when he is in the NBA with state of the art equipment for working out.

It's also a genetic thing. Some people are late bloomers.

Also as far as scouts are concerned, milicic went 2nd in the same draft that LeBron was in

We moved on to the 2nd stage of qualifying for the World Cup of basketball.

We are in the group with Russia, France and Belgium. Top three advance to the final stage of qualifying. Final stage of qualifying for the World Cup will consist of four groups of six teams from which top three teams advance to the World Cup. Record from the 2nd qualifying stage will carry on to the final stage.

Our group is strong but we only have to worry about beating out Belgium for that third spot and any potential win against Russia and/or France will help us advance from the final stage of qualifying. We wouldn't have to play Russia or France again in the final stage of qualifying.

We could realistically expect our NBA players to play in the final two games (occurring in June/July 2018) in this stage of qualifying.

Imagine how much stronger our team could be with Stipanović, Gordić, Kikanović, Sulejmanović, Nurkić, Teletović...

Our U-16 team has a few very talented players and so does the u-18 team. Čampara and Sikiraš should be give a chance with the senior team if some of our veterans are not able to answer the call.

All of our youth teams are playing beautiful basketball. U-18 team just lacked the depth at the last championship. Our senior team played just one game beautifully in this past preliminary round of qualifying and it was in the toughest game/the last game against Armenia.

Musa definitely belongs in the NBA and his game will 'translate' well to the NBA. His hunchback might turn away some of the executives. But I think he will do just fine. I like his 3pt shot more than Teletovic's. He has a high basketball IQ and doesn't make errors that can't be attributed to lack of experience. He has weaknesses but on most he can improve upon and probably will once he is in the NBA.

I think he made a bad call by not opting out to play in college.

He took a gamble with Cedevita hopefully everything works out well.
