for sure. easily in my top five English footy grounds. ... but not for long. I've read that they've already started clearing land at the Lionel Road site in anticipation of receiving planning permission for their new ground. probably two, maybe three, years left for this wonderful place to watch football.
I would if I could, but I'm only a mod on the Spurs forum. my super powers do not work in this strange world. I am but a mere mortal here. no different than yourself or Ivan.
Hull City is in 17th, and they have scored the most goals. It must be rare for a club to lead in goals while in the bottom third.
I'm rooting for Bolton this season... ...to beat our record for an embarrassingly bad season in the Championship, they're on course atm.
I was at Elland Road last Friday, and I can tell you, Sheffield United are for real. I'd spent the Fall thinking, 'oh, well, it'll all sort itself - they'll start dropping points soon enough', but that couldn't have been more wrong. they are real quality - all over the pitch. everyone I saw looked comfortable on the ball, even the centerhalfs making marauding runs through the Leeds defense. great movement off the ball, confidently stroking it about. tirelessly chasing down every ball, and then keeping their shape when out of possession. the whole 90 minutes. they were really, really good. and now I see that Leon Clarke has bagged four against Hull City. he's a perfect example - he covered so much ground v Leeds ... absolutely tireless. He never put in that kind of effort while at Wednesday (and I don't just mean that I never saw it - I went with my mate Harry - a season ticket holder at Hillsborough - and he was incredulous at Clarke's quality). you can see the belief in everyone of them. there's a long way to go yet ... but unless something significantly changes, they're going up.
Back to reality after dreamland of us knocking out Italy in the WC qualifier. Preston vs Bolton in the good old second division. It is like meeting an old friend again. This season we go up.Reading away tomorrow.Remember to bet accordingly. TOP OF THE LEAGUE,WE`RE TOP OF THE LEAUGE,WE`RE WOLVERHAMPTON,WE`RE TOP OF THE LEAUGE!
One needs to shout it out from the rooftops when ahead. It so rarely happens so when the time to enjoy comes..one´s has to.
