Sarajevo u19s beat Leicester City u19s. Instead of promoting any of them to the first team the Sarajevo board will instead sign some journeyman from Montenegro. Line-ups for the next match between @LCFC and @FK_Sarajevo . Whose gonna win the group C and face @Everton ? There is just no consistency. Every season, teams consist 50% of new faces. Talented ones go for peanuts. Some of them don't even get a chance to shine in the A-team because player 'A,B &C' are playing in their position and are gonna leave after the 1st or 2nd season, 3rd at best. No decent agents that can help a good player from the league make a quality transfer - Miroslav Stevanovic (BHPL Best Player) to Swiss 2nd league & Ivan Lendric (BHPL Top Goalscorer) to French 2nd league. Former was linked to Austria while the latter was linked to Russia. Both were 1st league clubs. I hate myself for following this poop lea... EYY! THE NEW SEASON IS HERE! WOOHOO!
Even that is generous tbh.
Zoran Zekic, current Osijek manager who has eliminated PSV from Europa qualifiers thus far was a candidate for the Sarajevo job back in 2015. What he says: Zoran Zekić nakon senzacije Osijeka: Pregovarao sam sa Sarajevom i vidio neozbiljnost
So FK Sarajevo's caretaker manager - Senad Repuh - won in Zenica and gets to keep his job. Easiest and cheapest solution for them. I went and look at their coaches over the years and it's pure comedy. Repuh is their 25th's coach since 2001. In 2008, they went through 4 (!) different coaches. 3 in 2004 & 2010. 4, again, in 2013 and 2015. 2016? 3 different ones, of course. Circus.
Zrinjski lost to Radnik, Sarajevo to newly promoted GOSK and Zeljo barely beat Vitez. Wager that Repuh gets sacked this week by Sarajevo.
Mladost DK, though. 3/3. Considering how many players left them this summer + Husref Musemić, they're doing amazing! But I'm still waiting for a new club logo of them.
Clubs just recycling the same old and tired players and coaches. No wonder every year the quality in the league drops a little.
Wouldn't be surprised if they or FK Sarajevo sign Boris Pandža and Zoran Kokot as well. Both are free agents currently. Zeljo did also renew contracts with 3 of their youngsters - Kemal Osmanković (20), Denis Žerić (19) and Ajdin Mujagić (19). How much playing time they are gonna get will depend on the results most likely.
Hard to believe we still haven't had a team make it to the EL or CL while every country in the region (Kosovo = Serbia lol ) has had a team make it to at least the group stage (if I'm not mistaken). Our clubs have no excuses to make.
Elvir Koljić (22) linked with a move to Turkey. Clubs are unknown while Krupa want at least €400 000 for him. Toni Nikić (19) leaves Široki Brijeg for a 6-month loan spell to Serie B side - Virtus Entella. They have an option to buy him at the end of the season. Olimpija Ljubljana are interested in signing Borac's Vladan Danilović (18). It would be their 3rd investment in a BHPL-player since last summer. Standard Liège are keeping an eye on Besim Šerbečić (19). He already went for a trial there and impressed them but paper issues are keeping this transfer on hold for now. Similar thing happened to FK Sarajevo's Semir Smajlagić (19) recently. Went to Switzerland to participate in St. Gallen's training session. Their staff were satisfied and wanted to sign him but paper issues ruined this opportunity. Shame. Irfan Jašarević (22) left Krupa for newly promoted Allsvenskan side - Dalkurd FF.
