I'm looking forward to seeing them in the playoffs in Spokane on the 26th. Who should I watch for?

A little more faith for the hometown team man, I really do hope the Patriots win.

I agree, I also hope that they win. Might not seem like it but I'm one of the biggest Pat's supporters around. However I'm saying that with the sometime inconsistent play of the Pat's here at home and the Fuego being...well....in fuego as of late, I don't know if the Pat's will pull through. Just being realistic you know.

Are the Fuego going away? Why would they give up their name?

That's what I mean. Why would the USL group get to call their team Fuego?

In the article from the Fresno Bee, they mention they are working with the Fuego. They also mention twisting the name to work for them. I believe it will be in the fashion of English team nicknames. Fresno FC: official Fuego:nickname. colors stay the same, supporter group stays the same. Not sure if they are buying the name or just working with Fuego ownership.. i.e. fresno fc in USL.. Fresno Fuego exist in USLPDL as a feeder team?? I dont know honestly

    This article?

    It says:

    That seems pretty definitive.

    It does say this:

I guess it could depend on what "spin it" means but taking that first quote into consideration makes me think it might be related to Fuego but not actually Fuego. It sure sounds like the PDL team, Fresno Fuego, will still be around. I think it is unlikely that the USL team, or even the fans, would use Fuego if that is a different team.

Ah didnt see the it wont be Fuego quote.
I have an insider source but its really a bunch of confusion over here.
I dont think the fuego exisiting in pDL means the name cant be used in USL.
Although as you said that quote implies that the USL team wont have it in the name.
Not unheard of for feeder teams, SF Giants/San jose Giants.
