I think there will absolutely be fees on them. I won't be able to answer for sure though. I belong to both but already bought through USSF at Noon because it was super easy.
yeah I was surprised at the no fee situation. I was expecting the normal TicketMaster rip off of $25 a ticket or more.
FYI...looks like you get up to 6 tickets per presale password and you don't have to buy them all at once. I bought 3 myself and if any US fans want me password for another 3 let me know
My email says that the code can only be used for a single transaction. Edit: I tried to enter the code again to buy tickets and it worked. Not sure if it will actually be enforced. It also looks like you can choose your own seats now.
I admire the patience the people at AO have. If you dont know why, take a minute to read thru their twitter mentions. Its amazing to see the complete lack of computer/technical/ life awareness some people have and the folks at AO handle it all very professionally.
I would consider the AO tickets but I just cant bring myself to buy a ticket behind the goal, I feel like thats not a good view of the game.
If we are honest the Supporters section is not designed for the savant who wants to watch the tactical matchups of the two teams.
If you are there to watch the game uninterrupted then stay away. You won't enjoy it from the AO section.
I think most of us get tickets in the AO section so we can be part of that atmosphere, not because we think it's a good view of the game. I DVR every match and watch it when I get home (multiple times for the exciting ones). I do like the view from behind the goal though, just higher up. Our Xolos season tickets have always been behind one of the goals, but at a perfect height well above the goal.
Bought my 4 tickets today via the Sammers SC presale. RBA is gonna be lit. Can't wait. My first visit.
Trying 1 more time. If someone has a code from US soccer, but did not need 6 tickets, could you please share with me in a private message? I can use the code to buy a 6 less whatever you already bought. Thanks!
I disagree. They are ok about it. The whole process is an absolute joke to be honest. Mobile tickets or a horrible idea. What if people don't have a smart phone? Also, I'm a guy that likes to collect my stub from memories, it's just a joke.
I surely hope so. As I said earlier in the thread there were a lot of Ticos at the Gold Cup match last week. Hopefully Red Bull fans snatch up a good majority of the tickets this time around.
AO's social media is extremely responsive and extremely professional. No matter how much stick they get and how pushed they get in the comments section, they take the high road every time. It's extremely impressive and has been for about a year now. And...the turnaround time on responses is top notch. Edit: i have my issues with AO on certain things, but their social media is not one of them.
I think you made Slitz's point, exactly. AO has zero to do with the decision on mobile tickets, that's at least 2-3 layers outside of their control, but people still complain to them about it.
Anyone willing to share a code so I can buy a single ticket for myself? I never got an email for this as I always do. These schmucks have screwed me. PM if yes.
They don't control the majority of things people complain about. case in point, the 2 things you are unhappy about you can print you mobile ticket for nostalgia. it isn't that tough to do. I too like collecting ticket stub and was annoyed when e-tickets and ticket cards starting getting popular, but it really does make things easier
