eddie, by chance did you find out what sections USSC Endline will be? I saw AO will take up 103-130 (south side of stadium).
Any one get the email with the code and ticket purchasing link from US Soccer Membership yet? I have not.
yes, got it at 4:34 PM PDT today. Here's what it says: U.S. Soccer Members have the opportunity to purchase tickets ahead of the general public for the U.S. Men's National Team's 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Costa Rica, presented by Volpi Foods. The match will take place on September 1 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey at 6:30 p.m. ET. Priority Presale (available to all Gold and Silver members) Presale begins Tuesday, July 11 at 10 a.m. ET and ends Friday, July 14 at 8 a.m. ET. All tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket orders are subject to a limit of six (6) tickets per member. The password below is unique to your membership and can only be used for a single transaction. Presale Code: xxxxxxxxx Please note: Tickets for this match will be mobile only. No paper, PDF, or print-at-home tickets will be issued. It's just for silver and gold, so if you're not at least silver I guess you wouldn't get it. I'm going to pass and shoot for AO tickets later tomorrow.
Thanks Pablo. I'm a new member and only Blue Status. Just nervous I'm not in their system. I see you are a West Ham Supporter. Went to Upton Park many times when I lived in London. Love the grittiness of that stadium!!
No. I read somewhere, probably reddit, that supporters tickets are $100. I always buy the least expensive tickets, which supposedly are $75 plus fees. I'm guessing that will put my group in the light blue colored sections from the seating map--Upper Endline Rows 12-21. Usually, USSF presales yield endline tickets on the opposite end from AO. Will find out for sure bright and early tomorrow AM.
Hello fellow fans. Is there anyone who is not going to be using their code? If so, I would really appreciate it if you could share it with me because I have requests for way more than 4 tickets I can purchase. Thanks!
looks like it's up and working. It doesn't let you choose a specific section or seats, just a ticket price and the computer selects the section/seats for you. I hope I don't regret passing this up for the AO sale later today. They didn't have the specific warning about buying tickets twice through different channels but I'm not going to take the chance.
Is anybody having luck?? I keep getting an error on search or error when trying to add tickets to my basket. What a mess.
I bought four tickets for my group. Ended up in Upper Endline Section 216, Row 12. The $75 price sections are Upper Endline and Upper Corner, Rows 12-21. TM picked Upper Corner. I unchecked that option to get Upper Endline, a view that I prefer. I had the option to pay $2.50 for standard mail delivery or nothing for mobile tickets. I think the standard mail option is a mistake, so I chose the free mobile option. Easy and painless, other than the high ticket prices. Presales are better than lotteries. Tickets purchased more than 7 weeks before the match with time to suss out airfare deals.
ok, i've got to say. USSC Priority practically has the entire stadium available to choose from, hours before anyone else. Every seat/section available except for AO/Sammers. That's as good as you can ask for, if you ask me. I'm a tad picky on where I want sit (in AO section-type vibe) so I can't have it both ways. Either way, my point, is this is unprecedented access and well worth the $55/year (times 10 years, etc...)
My window opens up in an hour (preferred) and I can't imagine too much damage has been done during the priority sale. I suspect business will pick up once preferred and RBNY ST presale begins.
Sooooo you could either get upper endline and corner seats for $75 with USSC presale or lower and closer to the action seats for $75 with AO? Edit: nevermind, I was thinking that 103-130 meant 103,104,105 ... 129.
talked to a red bulls ticket guy the other day at a USL match. He said their hope is that the entire place sells out thru presales and there is no public sale
With Newark being a 4 hour drive or less from DC, Philly and Boston it is not far out of the realm of possibility.
plus, this is a massively important WCQ and not just some meaningless friendly. There will be a lot of fans flying in for this one. Even though it's on a workday it is a Friday before a long holiday weekend too so more incentive for out of towners to fly in and do something else in that area. I think with all that they'd be able to 25K tickets in the presale. That would also lock out most Costa Rica fans too.
