Nagura did sign with Ryukyu in the end btw. I guess it was just a case of premature announcement. Scored his first goal
Kashiwa Reysol seem to have perform well in the AL Kass cup this year. Anyone know if any of the players had attracted attention overseas especially the likes of Kaito Mori, etc.?
Could anyone link me to the video footage of Funabashi Municipal High School vs Yokohama Marinos from the epic Emperor's Cup clash? I believe it was from the 2003/2004 series.
Sounds hard, best bet is trying on youtube with the team's names in japanese Btw, this reminds me that the Inter High will start soon !
It's not that hard. It pops up there from time to time, whether it's extended highlights or full extra-time. At least I saw it there long time ago.
@Dax I can't read or write Japanese. Could you provide the respective clubs names in Japanese? @Majster2 I found this clip but I can't tell if this is the correct highlight. If it is, any leads to the extended version would be greatly appreciated!
lol, what's up with simple Mie coming from Mie prefecture? the second lol is Aomori Yamada meeting Higashi Fukuoka in the second round.
Haven't had the time to follow the inter high yet, but the Club Youth Championship's final is played today between FC Tokyo (unsurprising) and Urawa. The semifinals saw Urawa beat Montedio (who had upset Kashima 1-0) 2-0 and Tokyo beating Frontale 2-0.
FC Tokyo wins 2-0. First goal, a great combination between Kobayashi and Kubo: https://streamable.com/jvu5b second is a PK
Ryutsu Keizai Kashiwa won the Inter High defeating Nichi Dai Fujisawa in the final game 1-0. There were some interesting games throught the tournamnet like this 'little final' between Higashi Fukuoka and Aomori Yamada. Pretty entertaining.
yep, some surprising teams made it through while Fukuoka, Aomori and Maebashi eliminated each other. Didn't expect Funabashi to lose the semifinal too.
So: Danto Sugiyama of Funabashi signed with JEF. Sideback. Taiki Watanabe, also a sideback from Maebashi, signed for Albirex. By signed I mean next season of course as both still in school.
.... and then he will pushed out of the team by big names past their primes, as it is the case now with Nakasaka.
Looking forward to the firts 'big' game between Higashi Fukuoka and Toyama Dai Ichi. And 9,5k spectators at Nack5 for the Shohei vs Hiroshima Minami! Here's something interesting (it's likely that both teams will play against each other in the 1/8 - those are Ryutsu Keizai boys)
