Some people hinted at Cha Bum Keun connection. I'd like to think K-league was taken more seriously back then.

Edu also played in Germany before coming to Suwon, so he probably wasn't a complete stranger to German clubs.

I really want K-League to get rid of the All-Star Game.
You have to think about the level of fatigue of K-Leaguers.
We can rather use the annual charity-promoting game hosted by Hong Myung-bo Scholarship Foundation as the All-Star Game.

A serious concern you have pointed out.

Therefore, K-league will ignore it and proceed.

EDIT: If they're gonna have an all-star game, I want to see something like Tottenham vs. K-league or MLS All Star vs. K-league.

    1) Promoting the city

    2) Providing entertainment to its people; a small city like Icheon lacks of entertainment infrastructure.

nobody is going to fill up their stadium. Probably in the low 1000s.

    Depending on how they manage.
Ansan had little short of 4K fans filling up the stadium on Monday night under rainy weather.
If a K-League Challenge club can consistently draw average attendance of 4K, it can be indeed considered as successful management.

Anyone remember when the Philippines(?) NT or something challenged Icheon's K3 side to a friendly thinking it was Incheon?

Yeah, it was the Philippines national team.

A K3 side won against a national team.

Manchester City is planning to create a Korean youth team by next year.
    - In collaboration with one of their sponsors, Nexen Tire.
    - Nexen Tire recently partnered up with Mubadala Investment Company (also known as "Mansour Funds"), so their partnership is pretty strong with Man City right now and money won't be a problem for the youth team.

Those guys have been so problematic since their days at K3 League.
It was about time they would mess up big time like this.

Glad we qualified for WC 2018.
No need to worry about re-scheduling fixture due to playoff.
