Well, the 16-17 season is now officially behind us, and I'm thinking this is as good a way to start this coming season's thread as any ... http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foot...wednesday-deal-for-carlos-carvalhal-1-8558101 Carlos is staying. Good news, to my thinking. Roll on summer signings ...
it's official ... http://www.swfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/carlos-extends-hillsborough-stay-3724061.aspx
I like all of those, and while I realize that Wednesday played in solid blue with white sleeves back in the 60s, two years in a row without proper blue and white stripes won't do for me. Given that it's the 150th season, to boot, it's got to be blue and white stripes, doesn't it? I love the yellow with blue sleeves for the away, though. I mean, a lot.

i have already begun - and will spend the next couple hours - digesting all of the implications for this season's trip over. ... Spurs fixtures ... Wednesday fixtures ... Champions League dates ... potential new grounds ... so much to consider.
Trying to enjoy baseball but the Giants suck this season! Orioles hanging in there ... Indians doing well...
yeah, but unlike the '24 Phillies, the Os don't have Cy Williams -The Wadena Wonder- to knock 'em in and offset those runs allowed. Cy (four times National League HR leader) being just one of the astounding four big-leaguers produced by the small Indiana town, despite having a population of around 50. don't ask me why I know this stuff.
My oldest son went to the Man U vs Barca game tonight in DC. He said traffic was so slow that they got in 40 minutes after kick off.

56,232 or some such number attended Spurs v City here in Nashville, TN yesterday... pleasant day sunny and 82*'s. Spurs looked shit though.
