New season being in the pre phase, so lot of changes and speculation taking place. PSV sells Moreno to AS Roma. Klaassen to Everton and Bosz to BVB. Not the least changes that could happen. Plus Ajax can drop Riedewald at Chelsea. If Feyenoord can keep the whole lot that renewed their contracts on board plus decent replacements for the ones that didnot I see a good chance at prolonging the title. There is too much change going on at PSV and Ajax, unless AZ or Twente suddenly rise up. On the European top club level changes are taking place in the defenses and Ajax has a prime target for them on board. The big plunder is about to happen.
Twente had a mediocre team this season. On the other hand, I see Utrecht doing a very good season and tickling the big 3. I am looking forward to seeing the season start. This is a decisive season for some of our young talents, such as Lammers, Stengs, Van Overeem, Kluivert, Bergwijn, Nouri, Frenkie de Jong and Mitchell Van Bergen.
looks like PSV will hit hard by the transfers. Nicolas Ismit mirin has also agreed to join Hoffenhiem with Arias and Willems also subject to transfer. also Ricky van Wolfswinkel has signed for Basel.never saw this one coming.vitesse were in europa.
Ricardo Van Rhijn is expecting to join Feyenoord in replacement of Karsdorp. Not a good idea. Van Rhijn is a mediocre player.
I read it in the "Parool" but I doubt it, because we in Nieuwkoop have a replacement that is better than Karsdorp himself. RvR is unhappy in Belgium for hardly ever playing, so it doesnot make sense to land in a back up role in Rotterdam.
It's pretty open. Feyenoord has CL games to deal with in the first half of the season. Not sure if their small core squad can cope. Ajax has a new coach and the transfer season could do a lot of damage. PSV seems to lose some core players in defense. I'm not expecting a challenge from the other teams.
kevin Diks could well be another option as Fiorentina could yet loan him out for another season. but yeah Nieuwkoop will be karsdorp successor. I think both Diks and Van Rhijn are being eyed for back up at most.
The last two weeks alot of rumours were spread about a Yank being on the radar of Euro top clubs, like PSG, Chelsea, ManCity and also Ajax and PSV were mentioned. I first thought it was genuine news, because he had a thread in the yanks forum about him being on loan at Porto. There was something iffy about all the "news" and I started to look into it and gradually it dawned on me it was all shit, produced by Metro New York. No one else comes up with news from those clubs themselves. All links on the internet at Ajax and PSV go back to that one source. Now some real digging made me post this on their thread: "I was intrigued by all the fuzz and decided to dig into his "career" to find out more about him. From what I read up till now about his presence in Europe I cannot see anything that warrants a view from either Ajax or PSV. He certainly isnot the stuff those clubs are going to spend the max non EU salary on. PSV and Ajax spend their money on first division first team players, not on reserve team/second division players. They have that quality in abundance in their own academies." Erik Palmer-Brown is hyped by Metro New York and that is parrotted by lazy people, but as far as I can judge without any substance. I donot see Ajax or PSV spending money on a Porto B team player in their second division, while he hardly made minutes (460 in total). We see what comes from hyped kids. Zelalem loaned by Arsenal to VVV hardly made it off the bench and Real Madrid's jewel Odegaard hardly comes off the bench at SC Heerenveen.
It's all hype and not much substance. Sure, the kid may have talent(I don't know), but 18 or so Porto B games isn't setting the world on fire. He'll be lucky if a team takes him on a free in December, much less pays a fee now. I really don't see how big teams could be falling over themselves trying to get him.
??? They didnot, not in direct confrontation nor in the table standing. 5 losses and 1 draw isnot tickling, not even technical ko, but full 10 counts to the canvas ko.
Now after the conclusion of the transfer it turns out Chucky has been a PSV project since their Dutch scout informed them of a great kid that joined the also Dutch modelled Pachuca academy. Chucky was formed by the Dutch youth coach that told Voetbal International Chucky was a great talent, but at first didnot do much more than showing his great talent. He needed discipline to do more on the pitch like pressing. With a grin he talked about when he criticised Chucky with his performance (= not doing his other tasks) the kid would have the attitude "Oh yeah, I'll show you" and he would give a fantastic performance the next match. It began to dawn on Chucky it wasnot like the Dutch coach was picking on him, but he genuinly was busy to make him better. Chucky only wanted to move to PSV. Pachuca wanted to sell him to a big club (for big money), but when it became clear that his mind was set on PSV they negotiated a solution with the Eindhoven club. Chucky had concluded, probably from his experiences with the Dutch youth coaches that the best place to start in Europe is at PSV. It seems he also informed himself at Moreno and Guardado and they seem to have been very positive about a move to PSV.
Bit early for him to leave Utrecht I think. Talented player though, but he I think it was not bad for him to remain in Utrecht especially they play in the EL. I hope for Feyenoord they will sign 2 or 3 player who improve their team. A left fullback and a leftwinger should be on their wish list. Otherwise I think they will make a fool of themselves in the CL.
We will park the bus against Barcelona, Chelsea and RB Leipzich Maybe we can loan Chucky to get him CL experience for PSV
Rik Elfrink, the PSV watcher tells that all of a sudden the transfer merry go round of PSV kicks in action.
Haha, I don't think so. I do hope Feyenoord will sign some real good players. With all respect, but players like Nelom, Vejinovic, Kramer and Di(c)ks are barely good enough for mid table teams in the Eredivisie. And a back line with vd Heijden and Botteghin against team like Real Madrid, Dortmund or Chelsea will be painful. Feyenoord do have money now they sold Karsdorp and get the golden egg which is the CL. You should find your own Chucky Hopefully van Geel will look beyond the Eredivisie for that. Otherwise you will end up with Haps and Larsson.
We wont be so cruel this coming season and make you hope till the last play. We finish the job by the time your club has figured out how to adjust to all mutations.
