Tbh, Youth Comp thread should be a separate thread to WK League thread. K League Junior R1 Best goals: Kim Jung-min's FK http://m.post.naver.com/viewer/postView.nhn?volumeNo=6903316&memberNo=2090255
K League Junior R4 U-18 Jeonbuk 1-2 Ulsan U-17 Jeonbuk 5-2 Ulsan Jeonbuk is getting stronger with their youth teams. They are no pushovers anymore.
this may sound stupid But is Kim Hyeri on incheon Hyundai steel , a male or a female? Looking at his/her Instagram and also Lee Mina's IG , I really could not tell EDIT I found out she is a girl . Pretty stupid of me lol
With a 2-0 win (goals by Kang Dong-hyeok & Park Jeong-in) over Daejeon, Ulsan U-18 is undefeated in 8 consecutive matches. A win over Gwangju in next match then Group B title is Ulsan's. http://m.post.naver.com/viewer/postView.nhn?volumeNo=7795531&memberNo=30455881
Incheon United U-18's ace Jeong Woo-young is nearing a move to Bayern Munich (!) This article claims he went to Munich for a trial recently. They have been watching him in K League Junior for a while and is expected to buy him from Incheon. But as he turns 18 next year, he is expected to join the team next January. http://v.sports.media.daum.net/v/20170619144022117
I'm guessing U-17 also played a friendly against Germany some time ago. Nach unseren Infos steht Bayern München vor der Verpflichtung des südkoreanischen Toptalents Woo-Yeong Jeong (17). #skyTransfer pic.twitter.com/ISDKNiJCCG— Sky Sport News (@SkySportNews) June 19, 2017 But as Sky Sports Germany also mentions, he aint leaving until he turns 18.
Do you know his stats? Was he a known commodity before this? Also, 0.7€ for a 17 years old is a lot of money for a K-league side but it should be peanut for BM.
In 1999 generation you have 2 most well known players - Cho Young-wook & Kim Jung-min. There are alot of other great players as well in K League Junior but this is a youth league so its difficult for regular football fans to know unless they really look into it. Jeong Woo-young is (or was) one of those ace in their team. Likes of Jeon Se-jin (Suwon), Kim Gyu-hyung (Ulsan), etc. The media now labelled him as "next Son Heung-min" but if you had ask anyone just a few days before "Is Jeong Woo-young the next Son Heung-min?" the answer would have been obvious.... ....at least for me.... I dont know what that picture is but he has not played against Germany in the youth national team. Jeong Woo-young's generation (1999) itself has not been very active in NT matches because it is a generation that is sandwiched in the middle. I mean the most outstanding achievement that this generation has achieved so far is winning silver medal in 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympics -- U15 event -- in which Jeong Woo-young featured and scored throughout. There must be an agent that works well with Bundesliga clubs and Incheon youth because the last time a Daegun HS (Incheon U18) player went directly to Bundesliga through trial was Kwon Ro-an to Hamburg. This move is very similar.....but it is Bayern Munich(!) I honestly want to hear about how Bayern Munich got interest in him. From the looks of things (as I have said, he barely had International matches exposure) they looked at his K League Junior matches mostly. But I dont know how Bayern Munich would think of just watching K League Junior to scout youngsters. Here are some goals he scored: http://tv.naver.com/v/1529223 http://tv.naver.com/v/1564470 http://tv.naver.com/v/1583872 His ability to use both feet very well is a great strength of his.

we can only guess Bayern has seen something worthy in which we can't see in our naked eyes. Anyway this is indeed a great news for Incheon United and its youth development program.
