Rhinos with a 3-2 win in Bethlehem. They were up 0-2, allowed it to become 2-2 and then hard work allowed them to get the last goal. Not too bad considering that it was the first match. Madison looked really dangerous.

    TFC II vs Rhinos 0-0
Very windy match with snow lining the field. 4 points in two matches to start the season. Here are two write-ups about the match.

    Strange match for the Rhinos.
They scored on the last kicks of both the 1st and 2nd half as they drew at home to RBNY II. It was not a great match for the Rhinos, but with 3 min left, I was hoping for 1 point.

The Rhinos find themselves in 12th place with 5 points from 4 matches.

    Rhinos defeated FC Motown 3-0.
Goals by Tergou, and Graf all before the 10' killed off the match nicely. Boukemia also scored in the 85 to seal it.

Next up in the US Open Cup is 31 May at home against GPS Omens.

Richmond comes to town on Sunday.

I wonder if the rebranding of Rochester River Dogz as the Rochester Lancers has had any effect? They played at the same time as the Rhinos yesterday.

Rhinso's win 2-1 in the 120'. They move on to play NE Revolution next.

Next match is FC Cincinnati. Quick turn-around after a long night.

1-0 over Cincinnati. With only 8 matches played the Rhinos now have 15 points. Nice job turning things around after the Charleston debacle.

1-1 draw at OCB. Josh Saunders was the difference as he made about 3 really nice saves to keep the match 1-1.

I thought Rhinos held their own in Cup game vs New England. Red card to Ferrel a killer.

Agree. The match suited them, allow the Revs to maintain possession, then counter. It is hard enough for a MLS team to go down a man and still win against another MLS team. Much more difficult for a USL Pro team to do so.

A brief look back at the US Open Cup, it has been a while since the Rhinos defeated a MLS side. 2009, a 4-4 tie with Columbus that they won on PKs. They made it to the semis that season.

I really like the competition, but the Rhinos seem to have lost the giant-killing mojo that they had early in their career.

    Ottawa today.

1-0 win over Ottawa brings the Rhinos into 4th place with 20 points in only 11 matches. Charleston has 28 points while playing 14 matches.
