I'm going to be in Mexico city for the Mex/USA match June 11. I'm trying to find where to buy tickets for the game any ideas? I don't see it listed on ticketmaster mexico. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

FIFA claims Mexico can clinch qualification in June, but I don't see how.

FIFA says Mexico vs. USA will be at 7:30 P.M. local and 9:30 P.M. USA Eastern. U.S. Soccer says it will be at 8:30 P.M. USA Eastern. When is the game?

FIFA has it wrong - there's never a two-hour difference between Mexican central time and U.S. Eastern.

There is a two hour difference between CST and EDT!
FIFA says the game is 8:30 my time (CDT). USSOCCER just says ET - they may be using Standard Time for some reason. I do believe Mexico City is on CST!

I could easily accept that either or both have the wrong time! :geek::laugh::thumbsdown:

Trying to track start times, I realized that FIFA gets the time zones (i.e. daylight saving time) wrong a lot; even, as in this case, it is within a month of the kickoff date. They tend to correct this within a week of kickoff.

Using my favorite time-zone converter, www.timeanddate.com , I see a two-hour difference on, say, October 30. (Mexico switches October 29, U. S. Eastern switches November 5, so for that week, there is a two-hour difference): https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20171031T013000&p1=155&p2=77

The 5 games involving Panama have had 4 goals, which is 0.8 per game. The 10 games not involving Panama have had 29 goals, which is 2.9 per game.

Panama is a very organized team. With Bolillo we've clearly improved our defensive game but he's paying this defensive order with scoreless results. We need to score and win games right now.
The three points against Honduras and T&T are a must!

If Panama beats Honduras and Trinidad and Tobago, Honduras will need at least 5 points from hosting USA, at Costa Rica, and hosting Mexico to catch Panama. It could help Honduras if Costa Rica and Mexico are qualified before they face Honduras. Panama ends hosting Costa Rica, who will probable be qualified by then, but Panama is at USA on Matchday 9, and if USA is qualified by then it means Panama will have dropped points from Matchdays 6 through 8.

The US home matches against Panama and Costa Rica will be crucial. Panama has gotten good results against the US at home as of late and the Ticos are never easy.
