I personally would probably buy on stubhub just because I know I'd get a legit ticket, but also probably will have someone at the AO hotel with extras.

So what's the plan for non-AO bus riders to meet up pregame and head to Azteca together? Worked out pretty good last cycle and the 3 in my group are definitely interested in going with a group.
Confusion reigns. I misunderstood my flight itinerary. I arrive with Aeromexico at Terminal 2. The Terminal 1 on my itinerary is my departure terminal at Guadalajara for my connection. The walk from T2 to Pantitlan, it will be.
I have the same question. I suggest meet at the AO hotel at say 3, and hit the subway then light rail as a group. I'm just going to Uber back after.
Is AO not meeting at a restaurant pre-game this year like they did last time? I was thinking maybe even we could caravan in Uber there. Seems cheap enough.
I read the AO info as meet at the BBQ warehouse the night before. I don't see any gameday plan. The fed is having some hoity-toity Azteca Jardin thing. I down for pounding beers taking public transit abuse after.

Last Minute Reminders Reminder to bring your passport! You cannot get into Mexico without a valid passport. Gameday transportation will depart from and return to the Hilton Reforma Mexico City. There will be a check-in desk located in the lobby from 10 A.M. to Noon where you will recieve your credential. The credential will give you access to ride the bus and enter the Pre-Game Tailgate Party. The buses will begin leaving for the Pre-Game Tailgate Party at 12:30 P.M. Your game ticket will be distributed at the Pre-Game Tailgate Party!
Looks like AO will be heading out at noon for a private tailgate. Count me in for meeting up and heading to the stadium as a group
Yeah I'd like to get to Azteca early and soak up some of the pregame festivities outside the stadium so meeting at 3 sounds good. If the hotel is the best place to meet, I'm down. Or a bar nearby? I'm not familiar with that area but I can check it out tomorrow/Saturday.
Heads up for anyone picking their ticket up at a will call location, it would be in your best interest if the numbers on your credit card are still the block style type where you can feel them as opposed to the new cards that just have the number printed on it. The first location couldn't process the transaction bc Mexico TM is old school and still has to scan over the card manually. I had to beg/convince the guy at The Liverpool will call that this was the only card I had with me. After about 45 minutes I got my tickets (thank god). Hope to see everyone at Pincho tonight!
Have 2 extra tickets that I will be picking up in Mexico. So we'd have to arrange to down there. Sell for face value. $25 i believe.
Agree with everyone. Yep, AO changed their pregame meetup (which in 2013 was pretty awesome, perfect place and location) but this time is blocked for only travel package members. They claim/blame logistics and security concerns. Whatevs... Pregame around the stadium is fun since everyone is in a good mood. There was a liquor store under an overpass (not far from the stadium) that we picked up cold ones.
I have a group of 5 traveling with me and was going to just Uber to the stadium but I'm willing to meet up and do a mass Uber or travel group if we can find a spot. I'm staying at the JW Marriott down the street from the AO Hotel.
So I arrive tonight at 735 local time. In terms of picking up will call tickets if I read this correctly, my only realistic option is Sunday at the stadium correct? Any other solutions? Also, is there a meet-up tonight? I bought the USSC pregame ticket so I guess I'll go to that Sunday afternoon, but happy to meet folks before then/also in terms of entering and exiting the stadium as like a bunch of you I'm somewhere in AltoSur, but not directly in the away section, so would be very happy to meet up with a larger group as I'm travelling on my own, staying at the W but happy to go wherever to meet folks.
