There’s no denying the fact that Griezmann has been Jose Mourinho’s top target and the Manchester outfit have been busy persuading him. The French superstar is wanted by many big clubs in Europe, including Manchester United’s noisy neighbors, Manchester City, PSG, and Real Madrid. But the player himself had dismissed the idea of leaving Atletico. The current Atletico Madrid man had previously said that he won’t be leaving Madrid and is happy to work alongside Diego Simeone. Rodriguez has a different say on this matter. He shared his say via Twitter that the player and Manchester United have reportedly agreed on a £84 million buyout clause.

Recently, SkyBet for Griezmann to join Manchester United is indicating that we will see him at United at the end of the season.

What a buy it will be for Manchester United.. brilliant player and would bring much needed creativity in Manchester United midfield.

He probably won't play at Old Trafford and he definitely won't play in the Old Trafford midfield!

If they do buy him, he would likely play in Mourinho's 4-4-2, Pairing him with Lukaku up top. Leaving Rashford at LM or sold.

Tbh, Griezmann is such a versatile attacker, he could play on the either wing in Mourinho's 4-3-2-1 or at ST. Heck, he could basically play ST in that formation too with his ability to score from crosses. He also brings the pace and technical abilities such as Lacazette which allow him to slip past the backline with finesse. I think he could finally cement Man Utds chances of being a Treble winning team once again.

Does he ever play attacking midfield for Athletico? We need a winger who can also slot into Pogba's position when he's injured.
