Regensburg won today and clinched third place in the 3.Liga. They proceed to a promotion/relegation playoff against the 2.Bundesliga 16th place team. That won't be decided until the 2BL closes out the season tomorrow, so it could be one of - I believe - six clubs.

Expect a huge crowd for 1860's home leg - it was about 75% full the last time they were in the playoffs, against Marc Heider & Ken Kronholm's Helstein Kiel.

That could be an advantage for them. Regensburg's usual home crowd is in the 4-6k range, 12k tops; 1860's norm is about 20k, but crowds of 35-40k aren't uncommon for them. .

He was subbed off after 28 minutes in Regensburg's previous match. He's likely injured.

Ugly at 1860, Fans not happy - Game has been 'interrupted' at 82' with Regensburg leading 0 - 2 (1 -3 agg)
Jann George subbed off at 67' - Looks like 1860 will drop to 3Liga and Regensburg will rise!!

This could be a sleeper right here. Super Intelligent player ( see box-out of defender on first goal above before running onto the header for goal). Remember watching him when he was 18 years old with Nurnberg pre-injury problems (uber-talent). Had Champions League attacker written all over him. When it went downhill for him, I knew because of his soccer IQ, if he can avoid devastating injuries and change his attitude, he will be back in the Bundesliga at some point in his career. We shall see......
