Subbed in late (90') at left back to help preserve a 1-0 win. Not clear if he was simply being rested after Honduras/Panama or for referring to Fulham as 'los visitantes.'

Went 90 in a 4-2 loss at Derby. Fulham are just outside the playoff spots with 6 games remaining

On the outside looking in (ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Gotta find a way, gotta find a way back to the playoff, Fulham, once again

I'm visiting London and dropped in at Craven Cottage for the match yesterday. Ream was booed when he came on for Madl - not the majority of fans by any stretch, but a small minority. Enough though that it was noticeable. I admit being surprised by this - I haven't seen Fulham play much this season, so I guess I can't comment on his form for his club. The CB he replaced, Madl, had a poor match imo. Despite the score, Ipswich had a few solid opportunities. But, I remember once in particular where Madl had his pocket picked by an Ipswich attacker, felt like he had a couple other missteps also. Anyway - it was really fun match, very direct, great fans, 2 thumbs up - Craven Cottage is an amazing ground. Stairs to get into the larger stand are still wooden, as are parts of the stands themselves. Neighborhood football club, very cool.

Two points behind Sheffield Wednesday, with five games left in the chase for a place:

    @ Norwich City [10] (today)
    v Aston Villa [11] (Monday)
    @ Huddersfield Town [3] (Sat 22)
    v Brentford [12] (Sat 29)
    @ Sheffield Wednesday [6] (Sun May 7)

For comparison, SW has games on the same five dates:

    v Cardiff [14]
    @ QPR [16]
    v Derby [8]
    @ Ipswich Town [17]
    v Fulham [7]

A little armchair analysis reflects mostly positive news ...

Ream went 90 at CB, Fulham won 4-1 at (now #5) Huddersfield 4-1, after conceding a very early PK (yes, PK), to remain at #6, the final qualifying place in the Championship.

Fullham are now 3 points clear of #7 Leeds, who lost; 3 points behind #3 Reading; and just 2 points behind winning Sheffield Wednesday (#4 on GD) and (#5 but with a game in hand) Huddersfield - as the 3-6 top teams jockey for playoff position. [Solid Brighton and Hove Albion and (Yedlin's) stumbling Newcastle are still a safe 1-2.]

Two big games left, but now with the inside track.

it lookks like Fulham vs Sheffield Wednesday for promotion. Fulham are the team no one wants to play right now, theyre on fire.

Unless Leeds can make up a 13 goal difference, it looks like Fulham just need to win one of their next two games to secure a spot in the promotion play-offs. Fulham are at home against Brentford next week and away at Sheffield Wednesday for the final fixture.

just going off goal differential, it looks like Reading and Huddersfield have stout defenses to be where they are now.

And to think they had Emo, Roberts, and Dmbele last year. Great effort by Fulham this year and players obviously stepping it up in a big way.

do you guys see Ream starting in the PL (if Fulham were to win promotion) or would he be 3rd CB or perhaps further down the pecking order (I'm assured they will grab some more to keep from being relegated)

If Fulham go up, I think Ream could very well start for them next year.

Big 1-1 draw for Ream & Fulham since 7th place Leeds also drew.

Basically, the only way for Fulham not to be in the playoffs would be for it to lose its last game & Leeds to win to the extent it overcomes a 13 goal differential

Ream has done well the past few months

It's quite meaningful considering the first few months of the season he was stuck on the bench.
