http://www.espnfc.com/borussia-dort...ver-bomb-attack-on-borussia-dortmund-team-bus The attack was to drop share price because attacker shorted shares. Wtf.
There is some sleazy ways to make money off the stock market with infinitely less risk or work. This was a really, really dumb idea that him being a white supremacist would make a lot more sense.
To have knowledge of trading derivatives and being savvy with pipe bombs and remote control triggering is a remarkable combination. He's stupid though to think one can place 15000 put options (not clear from the news if that were contracts or the options themselves) on a company while nothing is going on. That was bound to rise eyebrows, even before the bombing, making suspicion for insider trading on news not known in the public domain. The investigators in the bombing have been alerted to him by banking authorities.
This is completely insane. Another article that probably has the same info: https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...fd59ba-2663-11e7-b503-9d616bd5a305_story.html
More proof of this world spinning off it's axis. Whatever this guy, if he is the one, reasons for doing this, his lack of value for human beings is astonishing.
OMG!!!! Options in his own name??? That's like watching child porn from your home server or hacking the Pentagon from your own WiFi. Or, as one of the greatest movies of all time put it: "You see me doin' thrill-seeker liquor store holdups with a "Born to Lose" tattoo on my chest?" What a dumb mother-********er. Man - there are just stupid criminals in this world. What do the police do when actual smart ones show up?
That was a profoundly stupid plan. I blame it on the Chernobyl mutations, scientists warned us of this.
The good news is that not only was he mediocre in playing the stock market, but he was also mediocre in making bombs. If he'd actually made them correctly there could've been casualties, and a lot of them.
I'm OK ending the season 3rd or 4th at this point. The Pokal title would be nice to, but that may be asking to much.
I'm amazed that Red Bull could honestly finish runner-up with the likes of Dortmund, Leverkusen in the league.
Like Wolfsburg and Hoff, I think they will eventually be relegated to a clubs that is usually between 5th and 9th most seasons on average - unless the $$$ in obscene just starts pouring in. Wolfsburg and Hoff has some similar runs in the first flight. The difficult part was being able to maintain it when the club didn't even have a culture behind it or history.
