I highly doubt Assad was targeting civilians and children intentionally. Besides, ISIS has used mustard gas in the past as well: http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/21/politics/mustard-gas-us-troops/ In addition, what difference does it make if 50 civilians die from poison gas, or from a conventional bomb?? Dead is dead!! Is it not??
ISIS got the mustard gas from Syrian depots that were not turned over as result of the negotiated agreement to destroy their CW weapons. Use of chemical weapons violates an international treaty outlawing such weapons whereas general warfare is not outlawed.
HaHaHa, I told you so http://www.cnbc.com/2017/04/05/stev...ional-security-council-in-reorganization.html National Security Council shakeup: Bannon out, Rick Perry in Jacob Pramuk | @jacobpramuk 2 Hours AgoCNBC.com Steve Bannon removed from National Security Council 3 Hours Ago | 03:15 "White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has been removed from his seat on the National Security Council, reversing one of the most controversial decisions of the young Trump administration."
I just saw comments made two days ago by the US gouvernment that they would leave the future of Assad to the Syrian people. Now commentators blame the actions of Assad on this comment, as he feels secure that the USA isnot going to hinder him. It smells like the "invitation" to Saddam to invade Kuwait, when the female embassador more or less told him the USA wasnot interested in his actions with Kuwait. Probably Orange14 remembers exactly what she relayed to him. Words are deadly, especially when coming from powers that have the capacity to reign in criminal dictators.

Is Ron Paul right?? According to former Congressman Ron Paul, the chemical weapons attack in Syria that killed 30 children and has led to calls for the Trump administration to intervene in Syria could have been a false flag attack. “It looks like maybe somebody didn’t like that so there had to be an episode,” said Paul, asking, “who benefits?”** “It doesn’t make any sense for Assad under these conditions to all of a sudden use poison gases – I think there’s zero chance he would have done this deliberately,” said Paul. he former Congressman went on to explain how the incident was clearly being exploited by neo-cons and the deep state to enlist support for war. “It’s the neo-conservatives who are benefiting tremendously from this because it’s derailed the progress that has already been made moving toward a more peaceful settlement in Syria,” said Paul. Many have questioned why Assad would be so strategically stupid as to order a chemical weapons attack and incite the wrath of the world given that he is closer than ever to winning the war against ISIS and jihadist rebels. Just five days before the attack, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said, “The longer-term status of President Assad will be decided by the Syrian people,” implying a definite shift in U.S. foreign policy away from regime change in Syria. Why would Assad put such assurances in jeopardy by launching a horrific chemical attack, allowing establishment news outlets like CNN to once against use children as props to push for yet another massive war in the Middle East?
Did you read post 2079? When you receive the message red highlighted it gives you reasons to think you are untouchable. Like Saddam did.
Well O14 and a few others, you got your wish. Trump strikes Syria: http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...l-weapons-attack-n743636?cid=eml_nbn_20170406
Bernie was asked at a recent forum for his explanation of the rise of Trump & xenophobic demagogues around the world. This was his answer: pic.twitter.com/Z740fQ66Po— Our Revolution (@OurRevolution) April 7, 2017
Yadda.....yadda......what a depressing individual Bernie is. Trump is gonna turn this ship around!! Mark my words!!! Socialism/ Communism will never do it!
Funny thing, a Dutchman is going to organize the first marathon in Iran. He had to explain what it was. I wonder if he also told them it was the result of the death of the messanger running to Athen to tell them about the victory over the Persian army at Marathon.
So O14, Laurent and FSF, is Trump perfectly justified to go after Assad because he allegedly used chemical weapons on ISIS?? http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...l-weapons-attack-n743636?cid=eml_nbn_20170406 I'm asking a sincere and honest question
Chemical weapons uses are a crime (as are his barrel bombs) on any target and ISIS wasnot in that area at all.
Sure, and other then a few news reports what is your proof Assad used chemical weapons himself?? I'm personally not saying either/or, I'm just asking what is YOUR proof Assad in this instance used chemical weapons on his own people (or on ISIS)??
On the BBC was given an analysis of the images of the attack and the refute of the claim of hitting a depot. It had something to do with the gas going down instead of going up when a depot would have been hit. But the point is there is no ISIS there, so how on earth can you hit an ISIS depot?
Something interesting came up with the cruise missiles attack that gives Putin a headache in relation to his stance in Europe. Putin has been busy building up a defense against air strikes in Syria (especially military airports) to protect his own troops/airforce. Somehow the USA has found a way to disengage the systems at the targeted airport that is also used by Russia. So if the West is capable of overriding the Russian defenses in an active war zone, this puts a dent in Putin's macho behaviour towards Europe in case he has idiotic ideas. We simply can take out his air bases and basically take out his tanks too. This event has far reaching consequences beyond Syria. We should bully the Kremlin prick out of Ukrain, Crimea and Georgia now!
Ah, so if the BBC says its so, then it must be true, right?? Again, I'm not taking either side here, I just find it fascinating how people can accept whatever news source they're comfortable with, and take it as gospel. Again FSF, you believe whatever the BBC says to be true, am I right???
I wonder if the terrorists in Stockholm today were Christians, or Buddhists or Jews or Hindus. It's always such a mystery. One thing is for sure though, it has nothing to do with Islam.
LOL.....I'd be mad as heck too if I had to work at an IKEA store. I might just start flying airplanes into buildings out of boredom.......LOL EDIT: of course I dont have a pilot's license, so you freaks are lucky. But boy if I did
It's not the BBC, but the experts commenting on the images shot of the attack and they make sense. It's not like Trvmp throwing nonsense into the air. And BBC or not, I always look at what is brought with a critical eye.
