    You've never heard of Nocerino and Acquafresca? When did you start watching Serie A? 2014?

    Pretty much yeah. I followed Serie A before, but when it came to actually watching every game and keeping a huge close eye on it every day started in 2014. I'll be honest I am not that old when it comes to really be a true fan. I was always a Juve and Italy supporter but only followed Italy in World Cup and Euros when the tournaments were on, and while I always liked Juve, I have never actually watched them or was aware on what players they had. It sounds odd I know.

    I'll be extremely honest. Before 2014 World Cup I watched games but never took note of players names or anything. In 2013 if you talked with be about Messi, I would have NO IDEA who you were talking about, yes seriously!

    It's not a bad question and could be an interesting debate. Especially if we compare player for player.

    At forwards. Currently.

    Higuain > Belotti
    Dybala > Immobile

    If you live every day like you're still 17 you probably won't make another 10. ;)

    Buffon = Buffon
    Chiellini = Chiellini
    Bonucci = Bonucci
    Barzagli = Barzagli
    Rugani = Rugani
    Benatia < Romagnoli
    Alves < Florenzi
    Lichtsteiner < Zappacosta
    Sandro > De Sciglio
    Asamoah < Darmian
    Marchisio = Marchisio
    Khedira < Verratti
    Pjanic = De Rossi
    Rincon < Gagliardini
    Dybala > Bernardeschi
    Mandzukic > Immobile
    Higuain = Belotti
    Pjaca = Candreva (Not so sure about this)
    Cuadrado < Insigne

    Azzurri appears to have the better players on average other than in attack.

    I support both sides. Juve are arguably a top 3 club side in the world and the national team may not even break the top ten. What are we debating?

    The Azzurri might not even crack the top ten? Who's better than us?

    LOL I am kind of exaggerating. It is possible that the Azzurri could have a few better players on paper, but Juve is together for days, and Azzurri only gets together once in a while. Juventus is clearly much more familiar with each other and the team knows each other so well from playing daily.

    As a general rule Clubs are superior to National Teams. Its not just on paper, but the coaches have all the time in the world to find the best system and work with players every day. You can't compare clubs with NT's really.

    Even the best National Teams would probably only be around the level of clubs like Spurs, Fiorentina, Leverkusen, etc. This is basically due to the National Teams not being together every day and playing on a regular basis. Also players change much faster with National Teams. The only exceptions to this would be Argentina when Maradona was around, and Italy/Brazil from 1980-2006.
