Fortunately the browser saved my password.

Other than the format, is there something you can do that you couldn't do before..?

Looks good, works well with chrome. Layout is a little different. Looks more modern and sleeker. I like it.

I miss the lateral bar with the list of forums wich made easier and faster navigate in different sub-forums. I miss the tree of forums in the bottom of the page, now when you reach the end of the thread you have to scrool all the page up to change forum.

And like Blisset I find too much space in the screen not used, mading the read slower (and I dont want to think when somebody post a big picture or videos on the forum.

Maybe in phones is an improvement, but for that the forums app should be the answer, not nerf the PC interface.

In short pretty but less functional.

I basically agree with all of your points (after all, you agreed with mine! :p).

I suggest you make your voice heard in the "Site Upgrade" thread, as I did: the more people complain about what doesn't work with the new version, the easier it is that some of the less appreciated features get changed.

Anyone wanting to give a contribution, please join the discussion in that thread. ;)

Edit: oh, by the way, it's not useless: we are being heard. For instance, the "quote" window already reverted a little to the old style, with a frame separating it clearly from the rest of the text in the post. Other things can change if we make our voices heard about what we don't like.

Well, I guess that thread it's the exact place where you have to go too! :)

It gathers all the positive and negative feedback from here in the forums, so the administrators can act accordingly.

But no-one of them scored... :(

(By the way: hat-trick for Mandy Islacker. I always found her really impressive in Frauen-Bundesliga, and also in UEFA WCL, where she decided a final a pair of years ago. I always wonderered why she doesn't manage to translate her level of success at German NT level... :cautious:).

But Nagasato contributed to Frankfurts 2nd with a nice pass (the Zuckar or sugar pass). It was Islackers last game.

Nagasato seems to have played on the wing.
This is very interesting from a tactical point of view.
It is always important when a player can play several positions.
And maybe that will be her new role for Nadeshiko Japan, too.

:eek::eek: Why that? Does she retire already? It's a shame: a strong player and I player I did like a lot (also, I remember about her good chemistry with Kozue Ando back in the days at Duisburg).

Sorry for silght off-topicness, regarding Nadeshiko football. :p

This is just my opinion, but I think we need her at the moment.
She has a lot of experience and is a reliable striker.
We have already lost many experienced players at NT.
I hope Takakura thinks the same way.

One game per week sounds good to me.
We can see all the teams at least twice.
And who knows, maybe there are other possibilities.

Looks like Nagasato has been switched by coach to Frankfurt's main playmaker role (her new no.10 shirt isn't just for show I guess ;))

And I do agree with HS10Legend here on her further role in NT. Not only because of her reliable performance and experience but also for the the tactical depth she do provides for the team. I really haven't seen yet Yokoyama, Iwabuchi, Hasegawa or Momiki playing back to pressure with the same result as Nagasato had. In the future I'd like to see her side by side with Utsugi or Sakaguchi in the middle, or playing just in front of them.

Oh, I just now noticed that Islacker and Ando exchanged salutations at the beginning of the video, at about 0'48". :p

    Only their home matches, unfortunately.

True, but the main purpose is the continued growth of the women's game, no?
Not reaching a broadcast deal this time is a major step backwards for the league.

Maybe unepomme can give us more info on this?

These are not the captains, but apparently the players that are considered the "most representative one" (or most pretty ones? Naomoto... :whistling:). I recognize them all but two:
    - Beleza >>> Mina Tanaka
    - INAC >>> Mai Kyokawa
    - Urawa >>> Hikaru Naomoto
    - Nojima >>> Yoko Tanaka
    - Iga >>> Ami Sugita
    - Albirex >>> Megumi Kamionobe
    - JEF >>> Risa Fukasawa (I am happy she plays at least another season! :p)
    - Nagano >>> Kumi Yokoyama
    - Vegalta >>> ???
    - Chifure >>> ???

Is Chiaki Minamiyama retiring, or she's just without a club as Miyama and Goto? :cautious:

Lots of mildly relevant retirements from Albirex!

Wow, I had missed that (Although unepomme surely had said that somewhere! :p): I am happy that Narumiya once again gets the chance to impress in Division 1. I hope this time she makes a very good use of this!

Yes, my former avatar girl Saito Yuri too, but she would return as a coach someday.

I felt happy when she was selected for La Manga this year.
