It seems excessive to fire him considering he won the Olympics 6 months ago.

TBF, he brought the pretty much undisputed best team on paper to the Olympics too.

Is Gabriel Jesus fit to take the role of CF in russia 2018 ? He is just 19.......I think he needs some maturity which will come only with age. I don't want another Fred kind of poacher CF. We need a genuine CF.....Can Jesus really live upto the task ? Lot of people were not optimistic about neymar in 2014 saying that he was just 22.......Jesus is even younger ....I have doubts..

He played extremely well in the CF role and overall though. MOTM away to Ecuador, away to Peru. 5 goals 3 assist in 6 games under Tite.

Fifa world cup will be a different ball game altogether.....Tbere will be massive pressure. Doing well in a few friendlies and doing well in a wc are two different things. Though anybody can score goals for Brazil but if Brazil doesn't score goals then he will be primarily held responsible.......Its because being a CF this is what he is supposed to do.

Gabriel Jesus has not played one single friendly for the senior team what are you talking about. All his goals has come from World Cup qualifying which is a pressure environment especially considering we were in 6th position and are now in 1st. He also started his EPL campaign great until his injury and no not anybody can score goals for Brazil that's completely false.

Yes technically anybody can score goals except the goal keeper.....But he has to carry the burden of entire Brazil s expectation. If God forbid Brazil goes through a goal drought then everyone will blame him....It won't be easy for a 19 year old to take such massive expectations....Qualifiers, friendlies everything is OK.......But the big thing comes once in 4 years....Moreover I think jesus is a poacher kind of striker.....He is not a genuine no 9.

A poacher? Based off what? Just his games with Man City?

Neymar is the one who has to carry the most burden as he is the best player on the team.
Gabriel Jesus as a poacher? What is this based on?

I think the pressure got to him a bit in the Olympics but he has rebounded nicely for the senior team in WCQ. To question if he is ready a year and some change before the WC is redundant now. But I do think more games for City in Champions League will help his psyche out.

He along with Coutinho are the other 2 pieces to Neymar that we need to be 100% in 2018.

I consider players like Ronaldo ( Brazil) a true no 9 ........He doesn't need to be spoon fed inside the penalty box.......He can dribble / bull doze opponents from outside the box and score goals.......Others just wait for neymar to do all the hard work , create the opportunity and then a simple tap in. True no 9 are players who instills fear in the minds of opponent defenders...He is a guy for whom the opponent coach loses his sleep....

I'm guessing you haven't watched our games under Tite. We haven't been anywhere near as dependent on Neymar and that thanks in part to Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus.

Ya, I do admit that after the 7-1 loss in wc I was so disappointed that I stopped following Brazil soccer altogether .....Though off late I have seen a few matches. But still i believe Brazils quest for the real no 9 continues..
