I think I've said (not sure if here or another thread) that I agree with the refs. I have no issues with them going on strike and I have no issues with severe punishments being handed to players if they touch the ref, it doesn't matter how they're touched, you don't put your hands on them....ever. I know people like to talk shit about the refs because of the inconsistencies (Sambu dishing a worse headbutt to a ref and only getting 5 games) but this is different. Players shouldn't feel that they can come in and just physically intimidate a ref. I think an entire year may be too much, now neither one of those guys can play until March 2018. Suspended until the end of the season it would've been ok with me. If I were in charge of America I wouldn't appeal, if I could, I'd loan Aguilar to a team in another league and hope someone is willing to take him off our hands.
Ref safety and whether or not they are good at what they do are two different things. These refs shouldn't go out on the field fearing they may get jumped for pulling out a red (bad call or not).
Nah. Players reacting like that and the frustration correlates to there being zero consequences or gain from them ********ing up the way they do. Keepnin mind players get to know these refs over time. Its like having a coworker that fvcks up and kills your work week too....at least at work a guy gets canned. If he didn't everyone would be ready to punch his lights out too.
wheres the punishment for the ref for not giving a 2nd yellow to a guy who took down a player in full stride, and moments later giving a straight red to the opposing team for a dangerous play that was only dangerous because a guy put his head waist high?
I'm talking about feeling safe at your job. I know when I go to work I'm not going to get fuked up by my co-workers....I don't have the fear that one of them is going to pop off inappropriately. Do the refs need to be better? Yes...Should there be consequences if they continuously fuk up? Yes. I'm ok with the refs taking the stance that they won't tolerate any physical intimidation from the players.
I'm glad to see Djaniny doing well at Santos he is a good player in my book would be great at America
Those dudes with the signs are morons sin quehacer, and do not represent the greatness that is Club America. That said I kiiinda agree with what they tried to say, but that doesn't matter, those dumbasses shouldn't have put their hands on the ref at all..
I doubt it. It might work for a while, but everything futbol gets corrupted, too much money to be made..
The one thing consistent with America is that everyone, from top to bottom, old and young, lacks any form of class.
