That FW list... An unimpressive striker in the Austrian Bundesliga, overrated 2nd division wash-up, and a pylon. I'm ecstatic.

Kim Kee-hee and Jang Hyun-soo should be nowhere near the NT. They can't even make it to the match day squad for their clubs. Hong Jeong-ho, despite making it to the match day squad, hasn't been doing so hot either.

Kwak Tae-hwi has been out for about 2 weeks now due to an injury. Had a terrible performance against Urawa as well. (w/Yoo Hyun)

We also don't need both Koh Myung-jin and Jung Woo-young. They are pretty much the same type of player. I would have replaced one of them with Kim Bo-kyung instead.

I would have at least expected Lee Chang-min to be on the reserved list.

tl;dr It has been 4 years now and Stielike hasn't changed one bit.

One of the worst KNT roasters I've seen under Stielike.

And, you've got a 35 year old CB holding the backline, yet Jumen and Patriot Jung are put to dust.

AFAIK, not gonna see a decent roster under Stielike anytime soon.

Btw, you mean roster and not roaster.

The bizarre thing is none of the FW called up are playing well. Hwang's role at Salzburg is to make Minamino and Berisha look good, Lee Jung-Hyup I'm not even going to elaborate, and Kim Shin-Wook who offers nothing up front apart from his presence, Might as well call up the veterans given that they would do more.

You're right. But it's not only the FWs. What about the awful DM/CM (minus Ki)? Or the lack of wingers (AHB fckin deserves it)? Same shite CSL CBs, now they've even become bench members??
Lee Jung Hyub??? Ko Myung Jin????? Wtf...

my issue is this.. while i can sympathize w/ Uli on lack of "good" players he can choose for KNT, he is making his job more difficult by calling up even shittier players. the current generation is too dependent on 2012 Olympic team (core players + bench players) due to lack of "good" players after Cha DR retirement & KFA/Kleague doing an awful job of developing young players (seriously... not many have developed since 2012... just look at the results/failures of KNT youth)

We already lost the best opportunity/time to fire him and replace him. That is what pisses me off the most.

Not to forget to mention the competition is where Seo Jung-won dominated even at age of 35+.

China is still not capable of pulling 3 points against us. That's how I see it. We'd rather drop points against Syria. We do not have answer for their parking-the-bus strategy and grass-rolling.

There's no hope for Korean football I feel especially with all these incompetent ajusshis. I wish there can be an overhaul but I don't know what can start it.
The guy who said Korean football is dead was right all along...

Oh I knew he was in training but didnt play when I watched the game with Hull. I meant in seeing minutes ok. What does a Korean midfield look like possibly against China?
