Looking forward to thewatch party this Fiday. Even moreso for the pre-season matches and thee season to begin.
Unfortunately I don't think much of the Brigade will be there. We're almost all American Outlaws members and our pub is Ole Bridge so we have to go there. But I understand that the FO is trying to spread the love to different bars
Okay now I'm not sure how today is going to go down. The FO announced there will be players at the watch party at Legends. I wish I knew that from the start
The members that are also Outlaws had to go to Ole Bridge. We have a deal with them: they guarantee that US matches will be played with the sound on and we show up and enjoy some beverages. I'm really bummed that I missed out on meeting the players but there are plenty more opportunities for that. We had to be loyal. How was the event? (I thought I saw you in one of the photos)
Not bad. A decent few showed up and everyone had fun shmoozing from what I could see. The owner of Legend's grill is a strong fan of soccer and appears to want to host events for the away games. Good food and atmosphere. Not a lot of excitement with the game, but a lot of looking forward to the season.
Ole Bridge Pub will be the meeting spot for pregaming, they will open at 10am. March to the match begins at noon at the "BELIEVE" structure in City Plaza. So unbelievably pumped. It's been a long wait
Open meeting tomorrow (Saturday) to discuss plans, work on chants, and talk about what we should/shouldn't be doing. There will be a raffle. We have two scarves and two Clash pennants signed by Eric Wynalda. It'll be at 5pm at Mellow Fellows! Event page link https://www.facebook.com/events/754302688078940/?ti=cl
The plan for this Saturday! It'll be Ole Bridge again. Luckily this time we don't have to start drinking so early
First US Open Cup date is May 17 and will be at 7:30 PM in Tukwila, WA versus OSA FC or Sumner, WA versus Sounders FC U-23s.
I haven't seen anything saying they are. The Cup is single elimination in the 1st and 2nd rounds at least. We must win to get a chance at a home game.
Mar 10, 2016... Sacramento Republic and Reno 1868 Unveil 'Donner Pass Derby' I *kinda* called it... I was thinking it would be a good name for a supporters group, but in any case I'm just glad we're getting more cannibalism in American soccer.
Can't go wrong with a nod to historical cannibalism. "Donner Party Derby: EAT OR BE EATEN!" EDIT: Gotta be more active in here. I've been neglecting it...
I read Reno's Dane Kelly has scored 13 goals in 15 games. Shouldn't it be time an MLS club , namely the Quakes give him a look and soon?
SJ has called up a few Reno players but no nod to Kelly yet. It's pretty odd but I'm not complaining.
I understand they are in the playoff picture but still you would think an MLS club would come calling for a goalscorer which every team needs.
Stop giving them ideas. HANDS OFF MY KELLY! No but seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if he had a shot at MLS next season.
Sigi wants a goalscorer but then who doesn't? Wondo will be 35 next year too. Time to move him up to the big leagues!
KING KELLY! Wehan as Assist Champion (and Rookie of the Year candidate) plus Jimmy as a candidate for Defender of the Year.
