Dude, what you're saying is factually incorrect. Coquelin does not play as a deep destroyer. He plays as a midfielder high up the pitch and is there to setup possession. Whether or not you agree is irrelevant: that's where he plays.

the irony of this statement considering you, and only you, is arguing against a fact.

There is no "i agree/disagree" regarding Coquelin's positioning. Its a FACT.

I didn't see the Tuesday game, so I can't comment on that. But he's been doing well as the "first responder". If he could have a better idea of where his teammates are before he attacks he would improve immensely.

The missing link now seems to be a partner to our First Responder and Xhaka. I agree Ramsey's days are numbered here I think he will go to a lesser club or overseas.

Don't think so. Figure Ramsey ends up in Manchester.

Replacing Gundogan who's hammies are also made from the same material?

Honestly guys i was saying a lesser club cause i can't imagine him going to a bigger club and winning things it would just be unbearable. Mind you I never begrudge any of our ex players winning but Ramsey doing it would be too much man smh

Probably at Man U, City or some midtable team.

I hope Wenger doesn't bring JW as said replacement.

Was Pep still at Barcelona when the rumors about Ramsey and Barcelona were making the rounds a few years ago?

No clue. Ramsey, El Neny, Xhaka, Wilshere, Coquelin, Cazorla. Too much midfielders. Who will be leaving when next year rolls around?

Interesting how Wilshere has been fit all season at Bournemouth.

Are you implying anything? Perhaps a different manager who for months eased him back to full 90's? Or a different conditioning team/methodology?

I think it will be more interesting in May, if he manages to go the whole season without a major injury setback, whilst playing most of there games. At that point I'd love it if someone would ask Jack whether he thought that the different "environment" was a key reason for that?

Obviously this is not the Jack Wilshere thread but has anyone been watching him play regularly for Bournemouth?

I thought I would watch him more, but really haven't seen more than 30mins or so of him in action this season. I'm more curious about whether he's playing smarter on the pitch that the environment he's been exposed to at Bournemouth.

Does he still try to dribble through traffic as the slowest player on the pitch and bomb his way into stupid challenges?

Jack's injuries have generally come from those stupid challenges, for thew most part they haven't been muscle pulls, so a different condition regimen probably has little to do with the fact that he has stayed healthy. Maybe Howe impressed on him that he shouldn't be dribbling into traffic.

I believe Jack has generally been playing as a number 10 at Bournemouth and after watching Iwobi play as a number 10 yesterday, I'm not sure Jack is going to be back.

I've only seen Jack casually as well, but come to think of it I haven't noticed this old tendency of his, which I found to be really frustrating and stupid... one of the key reasons I wasn't sad to see him go out on loan. I wonder if Eddie Howe might somehow cure him of this behavior? :)

I've seen him casually too. But he hasn't been involved in goals much despite playing behind the CF. Even in games where they scored 6 goals etc.

But can he play on the wing? Because playing on the wing makes you a better player

    Ramsey had higher potential too.

    He can defend.

Kind of different players - Alli gets a lot further forward.

Agree with Ramsey's higher ceiling, though:

524929454163103744 is not a valid tweet id

Compare with Alli (data from earlier in the season for apples to apples comp):

789757511847014400 is not a valid tweet id

Injuries and that goal spree in 2013 killed Ramsey's career.

EDIT: should also include failure to build a capable midfield. Wenger's failure to build a coherent midfield since selling Fabregas and Nasri (SIX YEARS AGO!) is why he should be fired.

Just heard that Aaron's going to have a "small procedure" surgery done after the AC Milan match. It was deemed a "private matter" I think. So I guess it won't affect his football fitness?
