With the CCL's new format, we'll be able to return. 3rd place is a must win. Then hop on the plane right afterwards, full massage service during the trip back. LMX should pony up to help em recover for Thursday night, they earned it.
It was at least a decent showing unlike the previous ten years for liga mx teams. The refs I thought were biased AF, but ultimately didn't mean much in terms of the result. America needed to score first, they were completely awful in any opportunity they had up front.

Que no fue el año pasado tambiem y valio madres contra un equipo Asiatico?. Tercer lugar en un torneo de tres partidos es mejor que ganar la liga?
Agree with this sentiment. Club WC is a cool concept but it could be so much more and until it is, it really doesn't mean much (especially with UEFA coaches going on record about chairmen telling them to just make sure they come back from the tournament with no injuries). Let alone a third place spot. Good luck to them, hope they get it. But risking the league title to get 3rd place there doesn't make sense.
I didn't watch the game but not getting embarrassed by a top 3 team in the world ya es ganancia. IMO 70% of MX teams se comen 5-6 goles. Antes la liga que el tercer lugar del mundial de clubes though.
The FIFA announcers are bewildered by Muñoz and his obvious lack of talent and skill for this level. Just like anyone else who isn't a casual CA fan. Once he leaves the club, it'll be the end of his relevance as a supposed top level GK.
1 - 2 now. Wow, Atletico Nacional looks a tier above CA. The score could easily be 0 - 4. I'm not even hating, this is embarrassing. Nacional move the ball around beautifully and at a lightning quick pace while CA struggle to do anything other than simple back passes. The 3 at the back look as hopeless as they did against RM proving once again what was already common knowledge around the league: That Lavolpe is lost and out of touch this day in age.
Commentators are stupid to ask for a red there. The foul itself was clumsy and a well deserved yellow but he stepped on the guy by accident.
Penalty for América. 2 - 2 Oribe scores. Nacional very nearly scored on the play right before the penalty and still look far superior anytime they recover a ball in the midfield.
