You're clueless wrt to Eder. He was one of the few players in the 1st half linking defence and attack. He made a number of dangerous runs, probably most fouled player out there.
But we put in Zaza who gave you the PK on silver platter and you still couldn't win today. Who should be more embarrassed?
they're both not the answer. Immobile should not be starting on this team. People are impressed by his recent run against scrub teams filled with lower league players, but like I've said time after time, after time. The guy does not show up against good teams and just like I predicted he didn't show up today. He will get you a couple goals against teams like Malta, Estonia, Luxembourg and these other scrub teams, but he will not show up against a top 20 ranked team. You can not go into a major tournament with him in the starting lineup. I don't care what he does at club level. Fact is when the big lights are on for italy in big games he's nowhere to be found.
he's a troll. He waited until the game was over to post his nonsense. You know damn well he was nervous when Belotti hit the post. The guy was nowhere to be found before or during the game, but showed up out of nowhere after the game to talk sh*t
Fun game today, Italy and Germany always put on a great show. Not bad at all from Italy considering the age and experience of all the players out there and they even brought out some swagger. Belotti is looking more and more like a Vieri that I think Italy has desperately needed. Someone that can run, shrug off defenders and reliably bring goals. I was also impressed with Zappacosta who I think brings a bit more to the table than either De Sciglio or Darmian. I hope we can find a suitable strike partner for Belotti who isn't Immobile. As much as I like the guy he is just not consistent and doesn't really seem to do much for Italy. In terms of pure out and out ability, Balotelli is obviously a much better choice based on his current form, but questions remain about his temperament and ability to fit in with the team. Also play Insigne more... If we are trying to win, I would prefer Insigne over Bernardeschi.
lol at you thinking you know more about the game than Ventura and Conte who are clearly fans of Eder.
Anyone else just see Conte tactics going on......... Different coach same shit the only reason why people are giving Ventura a chance is because he is calling up "young" players.
You can't get much out this international fixture. Lichtenstein was no challenge. The friendly today was just that. Positive note is Belotti. We are going through a transition, both coach and players. The team has lacked any real identity for a long time, going back to Prandelli. Who knows if Ventura will forge one.
Not a bad effort against the World Champs. They didn't play a lot of their best but frankly we left some firepower on the bench as well. The best part of this is that Ventura is giving young guys a shot. Zappacosta is a great young talent and could be a real nice piece to work with on the right side of our defense. I still like him as a right back more than a right winger. Belotti is such a smart and all-around great player. He's not just a bull up front. He tracks back, works for the team, and is a good assist man too. Real team player. Bad luck not to score at the end. I also thought Immobile and Bern should have buried the clear chances they had. Some poor finishing there. Donnarumma, Rugani, Romagnoli, Zappacosta, Belotti, Immobile, Bernardeschi, etc are all the future. Great job by Ventura of getting them experience vs world class competition. We have work to do, but the arrow is pointing up.
Would it not make sense that this was more of a troll move to motivate Zaza himself by giving him a taste of what he desperately wanted for the past 88 minutes? Do any of us here really think Ventura thinks of any of us, the newpapers or tv pundits? His allegiance is to FIGC first, maybe shades to Conte, and then himself which contains his reputation, current and future employment and lastly a legacy.... I really dont think he thinks of anyone except the Federation, himself, conte out of respect and of course his players who will make or brake his current employment and heavily impact future employment.... Im pretty confident this was done to motivate Zaza, sure he may have been throwing him a bone saying your still one of my guys, but most likely the timing indicates a motivating factor rather then anything else because it says to the player... This is what you want, take a taste but you havent earned it yet... now use this for fuel and we will chat when you come back... But still.... Give a guy 10 minutes, that previous 80 minutes is still gonna sting and this gives the sub a chance to make a tiny impact, I suppose best way to light a fire under a players ass is to sub him at last minute.... Last minute subs seem like cordial "punishment", modification, grooming, or correction of something affecting the player more then anything else.
