Trust me I want Berardi to succeed as much as anyone being a fellow calabrese. But what has he done internationally to get the spot that you want to give him that immobile hasn't?!

It's starting to get annoying your hate of these players. Did zaza and immobile pig roast your ex or something?

"What has he done internationally"? How can you say that when he hasn't even been called up?

He will be. He has great potential, and is one of the best forwards we have now if not the best. I can't wait to see him after he comes back from injury.

Yeah a little bit. He is closer to Gilardino actually and maybe the next one. I am not sure if he will be as good as Vieri now though. Vieri was one of the best strikers we had. Vieri, R. Baggio, and Del Piero were our best of all time. Toni and Gilardino were really good players but not like the top 3.

So don't make such outlandish remarks. Two of them were way before my time as well. One played when I was a kid. But history is history.

huh ? The guy has never been given a chance. As I've stated before immobile went 2 years without scoring and his spot was still set in stone. Most top teams would have dropped that player. Can somebody please go look at the teams immobile scored against. All scrub teams with lower league players. Send me a message when this guy shows up against a real team. I've been waiting since he first got called up.

Buffon, Zappacosta, DDR and Belotti look good

Defensive 3 have never played together, and it shows

Parolo invisible, which for a DCM probably means he's doing his job

Immobile clearly out of position but doing his best

    Eder is mediocre

Actually, the back three have played together but not all three at the same time. Two have partnered with each other at various times.

Ventura is trying to use eder and immobile's speed to force the german defenders into making mistakes. Like I've said it will work against scrub team's, but not well organized defensive teams like Germany. He need's a big striker to hold up the ball, win free kicks and possibly score from a set piece. That's where pelle came in handy.

    Immobiles speed?

Am I wrong or is he kinda chunky in his movement, he never struck me as a fluid type runner, sure he has his bursts, but even then... it struck me as nothing special.

Eder is smaller and more agile, but he doesnt really possess great speed or am I also wrong about that? I dont really recall him ever burning anyone.

We will never probaly ever see a player who recreates the form, style, and production of Vieri or Alex, Sadly I was too young to see Baggio so I cant really make an assessment outside of youtube clips...

That being said, Having players equal the form and results of Toni and Alberto is realistic I would say and perhaps one of the new faces will surpass them, a few look like they definitely can... but that doesnt equal results.

It is kinda dissapointing to see Germany letting the depth players play while we stick with a mix of our number 1s and number 2 players while we only incorporate only like 1/3rd of the youth on this team and even then, some of them are not strangers to playing.

At least some of the younger guys are out there.

he's known for his work rate. He will basically chase defenders nonstop. That's why conte loved him so much even when he wasn't scoring. Both him and eder will pressure defenders and run around nonstop. That's why ventura is playing him on the right wing and eder on the left. This will work against scrub teams with shaky defenders, but not a team like german. He needs a big striker to play against team's like this. This is why balotelli was so successful against them at the World Cup and pelle played well against them at the euro's. Ventura goes into every game with the same plan. You're not going to force germany into making mistakes with eder and immobile. Very poor game plan from the jump and it shows.

Italy have already conceded more fouls (18) than in 120 minutes at the European Championship quarter final v #Germany (13). Friendly.
