Have you mentioned Hannah Taylor of the Canadian U-17s? She was very solid against GER today and scored the game winner against Cameroon.

No, I wasn't aware of her. I must have missed her when scanning the rosters. Thanks.

    Here's her CSA bio:

    http://canadasoccer.com/?t=profile&pid=6569

ETA: I see why I missed her... she's listed with a Canadian youth club on the official player list:
    http://resources.fifa.com/mm/docume...02/83/62/03/fu17w_2016_squadlists_neutral.pdf

That's usually about as far as I will dig unless there's a clue of dual nationality somewhere.

Seems FIFA credits another player with the goal.

    Mexico lost 2-1 to Venezuela.

Soto came off at half, replaced by Reyes. Torres came on in the 83rd.

Here's an explanation of why it was Enrique's goal:

Unsurprisingly, it was Castellanos who sparked the game into life with two fine efforts - the first a 30-yard free-kick, the second a looping long-range volley - both of which had Miriam Aguirre scrambling. But when a goal did arrive, it was Mexico - against the run of play - who claimed it. El Tri enjoyed a bit of luck in the process, with Kimberly Rodriguez's header from Jacqueline Ovalle's cross shown to be heading wide before it took a fortuitous nick off Jazmin Enrigue's heel to divert it into the bottom corner.

Emma Viquez (age 15) left Dallas for Costa Rica yesterday to play two games for their U20 side over the next ten days...Emma is a real artist with the ball and the sky is the limit for her...

After checking with the Google machine, here are a couple more US-based players:

    Hana Shaghasi
    Nilab Mohammadi

Both appear to be CA high school age players.
