Is not like we were hating on chiqui just for the ******** of it, there were and still are plenty of reasons to hate on the guy, but if he keeps winning he can keep shutting me up and I'll be perfectly happy with that arrangement, I think we played a great game tonight and hats off to Arce for getting the team to play like this.

That home win was incredibly clutch and needed. I doubted Arcelor as much as the next guy. Also in the willing to shut the hell for wins club. Great win.

Lmao what a joke of a game. Well it was nice to think we had a decent team while it lasted. At this rate we might be able beat America Samoa's record on number goals up our @$$es.

    Back to square one.

We really missed Gomez and Rojas today. Aguilar and Ortigoza are absolutely terrible.

There it is, Chiqui being Chiqui, thinking he can outsmart everyone, we won against Chile with huevos and playing Paraguayan Style we could have gone over there and try to get a point but noooooo that's too simple for chiqui he had to change everything around and this is the result we get.

Some of the changes where forced due to suspensions but I do agree that the formation was a little odd.

What we need is a difference maker in the attack. Uruguay has Suarez who single handedly took us apart. We don't have a single decent forward...Lezcano looked promising but is falling flat.

I think Chiqui needs to call Sergio Diaz for the next combo. He's the only forward we have that looks like a game changer. So much that Zidane is starting to bring him to Real's first team already.

And again, I don't know what coaches see in Victor Ayala. I never seen a more useless player in my life. The fact that he gets to start over a player like Almiron is an absolute travesty.

We got extremely lucky that all the other results from last night went our way. Next round will be even tougher then this round and Chiqui Arce needs to play the correct players.

Meaning leaving out troncos like Santander, Aguilar, Ortigoza, Ayala. Calling up Diaz, starting Almiron, and giving Mendieta his opportunity as Mendieta is about 100 times better then Ortigoza.

Chiqui's mind is in the right place but as you always say he wants to experiment too much. Thats what friendlies are for not WCQs.

Colombia attacking (successfully) through Candia's side. They know he's the weak link. I dont understand how he keeps getting not only called up but starting for the NT. The guy is clearly not NT material and has made dozens of mistakes in only a few minutes.

And Conejo Benitez is the new Haedo. Does absolutely nothing game after game and somehow always gets called up (and starts)

Do you think Cecilio Dominguez deserves a chance in the first team?

Yes, he's been terrific lately but the moron Chiqui Arce will continue to start Conejo Benitez instead. We could have Ronaldo on our team and Arce would play Benitez over him.

It's also completely mind blowing to me how he could leave a player like Miguel Almiron on the bench and start Victor Ayala instead. He also left out Mendieta who has been the best player in the league.

I just remembered why everyone hates Chiqui Arce....

This was the game to win. There is absolutely no way we're beating Argentina.

Looks like Chiqui Arce will be leaving us out of yet another World Cup. Thanks jack@$$

I'm going to say it cause it needs to be said but "I TOLD YOU SO" chiqui is a moron and it's still hard for me to understand how everyone forgot how much he sucks, in such a short period of time.

Candia is Useless, calling Conejo Benitez the new Haedo, it's too generous for that useless piece of crap, Haedo came through with so important goals through the years, why is Almiron not playing? easy because Chiqui thinks he is smarter than everyone and if everyone wants Almiron that means he'll prove us wrong by doing the opposite, Mendieta by far the best player in Paraguay and our missing link between defense and offense does not get a call, why you say? only chiqui can understand, Roque has been subbing in Europe for over a decade and always got the call, now that for the first time in over a decade he is getting regular playing time, playing well and staying healthy, he doesn't get called and CONejo Benitez gets to start, MotherF@CKER!!!! I'm pissed but we deserve this for forgetting so soon, and to all the dumbasses that wanted a Paraguayan coach because they wanted to show they are more patriotic than everyone else, Here you go, great job.

This is the team that NOW Chiqui Arce wants to play vs Argentina.

Justo Villar; Jorge Moreira, Gustavo Gómez, Paulo Da Silva y Salustiano Candia; Hernán Pérez, Rodrigo Rojas, Marcos Riveros y Óscar Romero; Miguel Almirón; Lucas Barrios

That was the team he should have played vs Colombia with the addition of Mendieta (who didn't even get called) and just about anyone over Candia. But let's face it even changing the team we're not beating Argentina. Colombia was the team to beat in this combo and that retard screwed it all up but throwing out a complete vomit of a formation.

And your right, calling Benitez the new Haedo is definitely to flattering for him. Atleast Haedo knew how to run. Benitez might just be the most useless forward I ever seen put on the NT shirt.

NOW Chiqui wants to change the formation after being heavily criticized. A lil too late @$$hole.

Argentina is beatable at home or at least a venue that is no longer the fortress that it used to be. Without Messi and with Bauza who tends to be so conservative they seem to be a very disjointed team. Zabaleta is out as well who while getting older is still the best defensive winger they have. Odds are they should win but I wouldnt be so quick to throw in the towel.

Chiqui Arce might just be the most bi polar coach we've ever had. One game he will put out a total mess of a lineup and we'l play terrible and another game he'l use the perfect strategy and play it just right. The last 2 combos are clear examples of that.

I'm happy we won but it still pisses me off because if Chiqui Arce had used this lineup and group of players against Colombia we probably would have had 6 points by now.

I'm very impressed with the combo of Almiron, the Romeros, and Derlis Gonzalez together. They work extremely well together. Junior Alonso also surprisingly impressed me. I thought Argentina where gonna run him down but he more then held his own and showed he's a far better option then Candia, and I say this as an Olimpista.

Last night's formation needs to be our base team. Please nomore Conejo, Candia, Ayala, ever ever again.

And props to the grandpa Villar. Still our top keeper despite all the criticism he gets.

Ok so chiqui decided to put in the line up that everyone has been asking for, so now he should get credit for using common sense, anyways 3 puntos de oro and I'm happy with that, hopefully we can get at least for from the next round and we'll be in good shape.

Our upcoming schedule isn't too bad and it's doable.

Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Venezuela at home are all winnable games. Uruguay might be a little tougher as they been playing very well but I say we can get atleast 10 points from those games.

Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, and Colombia away gets tougher ofcourse. We MIGHT be able to get something in La Paz if we play smart, don't see anything but a loss in Brasil, but I say we can get something in Chile and Colombia. Chile is in a rut and we tend to play better against Colombia in Colombia then we do against them in Asuncion for some reason. I say at best we can get 5 points from those games but more realistically maybe 2 points.

Ofcourse this is all assuming Chiqui sticks with the team he used against Argentina and doesn't f*ck up again.

I'm pretty certain you'll beat us. We don't give up anymore like we used to but overall Paraguay is a better team and at home they have impressed me.

I won't have that as a sure bet. Peru always gives us a hard time even at home. Won't be an easy game.

BTW I'm very happy to see Dario Veron called back to the NT. Sure he's 37 but still one of the best Paraguayan defenders out there and one of the best defenders in Mexico.

The guy was shuned from the NT by Pelusso and I have no idea why he was never called back even way after Pelusso was gone.
