Alguien sabe si fox sports da la copa sudamericana para el cono norte? Hasta ahora no sale nada en la programacion. Does anybody know if Fox Sports is broadcasting the tournament for North America?
I have the same question, as well as the suruga bank. I would honestly not be even remotely surprised if they didn't show it. I despise FOX Sports up here, its a piece of crap.
guess im watching the Junior game on Rojadirecta, what choice do I have. The idiots here aren't even bothered. Hate having to deal with this every year.
Are they showing the baseball? The Copa Sudamericana the past few years has been overshadowed by the baseball but eventually they do show it. I live in Lima now so I have no problems with the games myself.
Anyways, I'm gonna be at the Estadio Nacional for the Emelec game today. I'm very much expecting to lose but I'm still a bit optimistic and hoping for a night to remember.
no, reruns of the super cup (like they do every year). You're in South America though you should be fine, the idiots here always take a few weeks before they show it even though they could easily transmit it from day 1. I'm sure i'll have to watch the suruga bank online too
When I lived in North America I had the same problem. I couldn't stand Fox Sports there, the commentators were absolutely clueless to add to that.
What was that? I had to leave the stadium early, and I wasn't the only one. Pretty much everyone left the stadium after the third goal. It was nice to see some away fans (and I was told they were ACTUALLY away fans) but the game was a complete disaster. All 3 goals were terrible. The first goal was a mistake from the ref. Emelec commits a foul in attack, later for us to soon commit another foul and the ref gives that one and they score the set piece. Then Cuba loses the ball in the box for Straquarlursi to score, and then Caceda doesn't make the run out for him to score again. Out of all the Universitario games I've been to, this has to be the worst. What was the point of signing Galliquio for the Sudamericana if you insist with Braynner who's been a liability all season? Also I thought Pino might have been decent but if he goes from France to Peru, then something fishy went on at his old club. I wasn't happy with the substitutes either, I thought to myself that Siucho wasn't ready and I was right. Only Polo showed any sort of competence and even he didn't look great.
To be fair to Pino, kind of ridiculous that a DT would start him in such a pivotal match after how many years of not having a full match on-board? What else were they expecting? Doesn't help when your defenders literally give the ball away with some blooper like plays.
There were insults towards Pino last night but Im gonna give him time. Same with Alexi Gomez who Im willing to give a second chance. As for the bloopers in defence, I wish they had saved those bloopers for another day. We looked alright in the first half, not great but good enough to possibly take the game. In the second half there was no communication from any of our players whatsoever. Look at that third goal. Caceda should have run out but didnt. Same with the second goal, where Cuba had no idea where to get rid of the ball giving Straq a chance to steal it and place a nice finish. Honestly I knew that if we drew Emelec or Atletico Nacional we would lose. Even then though I didnt expect a defeat this embarrassing. If we were in Guayaquil fair enough but this was a home game. The last 3 years for Universitario in continental competitions have been terrible. Makes Sporting Cristal look great in the Libertadores.
Also should mention how we couldnt stop Angel Mena. He absolutely ran rings around our defenders. Thank goodness Miler Bolanos wasnt here otherwise it could have been worse.
Pino? Yes it was but as mentioned above, it was a baffling decision to put him on in such a crucial game.
