That would work for Mexico against USA, but if I wanted to do it for Trinidad and Tobago against Costa Rica, and I couldn't find a list of their head-to-head games, I would have to spend time getting the information from ELO's list of all the games played by Trinidad and Tobago or Costa Rica (I could pick either one to look at). If I wanted the head-to-head results between each pair of the 12 teams in the WCQ Semifinals, that would be 66 pairs of teams. If you know of a website with a list of head-to-head games between any two members of FIFA who have ever played each other, please tell me. I don't mean to be rude. I'm just saying that the information I want can be time-consuming to gather.

Here are the Top 10 in CONCACAF in the July 2016 FIFA Rankings:

    14. Mexico (up 2)
    25. USA (up 6)
    27. Costa Rica (down 4)
    51. Panama (up 5)
    55. Jamaica (down 9)
    58. Trinidad and Tobago (up 6)
    80. St. Kitts and Nevis (up 12 to their best ranking ever)
    82. Honduras (up 4)
    83. Antigua and Barbuda (even)
    90. Guatemala (up 1)

CONCACAF has 35 teams in the FIFA Rankings. Of the 25 teams not listed above, 8 moved at least 20 spots:

Haiti was down 26 to 100th
Puerto Rico was up 46 to 112th
El Salvador was down 26 to 125th
Curacao was up 20 to 124th
Belize was down 50 to 164th
Suriname was up 20 to 170th
St. Lucia was down 26 to 171st
Bermuda was down 21 to 188th

It is the first time Puerto Rico was ever ranked ahead of El Salvador.

Draw v. Grenada, win over Antigua, jump 46 spots? Must be some tight numbers that far down.

Puerto Rico almost doubled their FIFA Ranking points! They gained 165 points to 332. France, Italy, Wales, Croatia, Poland, and Guinea-Bissau were the six countries to gain more points than Puerto Rico this month. Puerto Rico had the second most points gained by a country not in UEFA.

Here are the Top 10 in CONCACAF in the August 2016 FIFA Rankings:

    14. Mexico (even)
    21. Costa Rica (up 6)
    26. USA (down 1)
    68. Trinidad and Tobago (down 10)
    69. Panama (down 18)
    71. Jamaica (down 16)
    81. St. Kitts and Nevis (down 1)
    82. Guatemala (up 8)
    83. Antigua and Barbuda (even)
    84. Honduras (down 2)

There were only two national team games added to the rankings, and both were between two Asian countries. Most teams didn't move much. Costa Rica (up 6), Guatemala (up 8), and Curacao (up 3) are the only three CONCACAF countries to move up at least 3 spots. Trinidad and Tobago (down 10), Panama (down 18), Jamaica (down 16), El Salvador (down 12), and Cuba (down 30) fell at least 10 spots. Cuba fell the most points and the most spots in the world. El Salvador is 137th, which is their worst ranking since they were 141st in November 2007.

Four Central American and four Caribbean national teams. Well balanced ranking, but not always accurate.

With Curacao being tied for the second most spots gained in the world, http://www.football-rankings.info/2016/10/fifa-ranking-october-2016-final-preview.html says the Top 9 in CONCACAF in the October 2016 FIFA Rankings will have five Caribbean teams. The FIFA Rankings will be released on Thursday 20 October. I checked the FIFA Rankings back to the 200th rankings from March 2011, and there have never been 5 Caribbean teams in the Top 9 in CONCACAF. Later I will check farther back.

In Thursday's FIFA Rankings, Curacao will become the top team in the Caribbean. The Top 5 in the Caribbean will be very close:

    Curacao: 467 points
Jamaica: 461 points (UNCAF team Honduras will also have 461)
    Trinidad and Tobago: 454 points
St. Kitts and Nevis: 443 points
    Antigua and Barbuda: 433 points

Costa Rica will pass Mexico. I'll post more when the rankings are released.

In my previous post, I neglected Haiti, who are up 18 spots to 69th and are the top team in the Caribbean. Curacao is 75th, which is their best ranking ever, and are second in the Caribbean. Here are the Top 10 in CONCACAF in the November 2016 FIFA Rankings:

    17. Costa Rica (up 1)
    18. Mexico (down 1)
    28. USA (down 4)
    58. Panama (up 5)
    69. Haiti (up 18)
    75. Curacao (up 2)
    76. Jamaica (down 1)*
    76. Honduras (up 10)*
    78. Trinidad and Tobago (down 13)
    79. Guatemala (up 4)

    * means that teams are listed as tied if their points are equal when rounded to the nearest whole number, but FIFA also gives exact values which have Jamaica at 460.95 and Honduras at 460.81.

Here are CONCACAF teams not listed above who moved at least 8 spots:

    99. Nicaragua (up 8)
    118. Canada (down 8)
    125. Cuba (up 17)
    177. St. Vincent and the Grenadines (down 15)
    180. St. Lucia (down 13)

St. Vincent and the Grenadines has their worst ranking ever, and Canada is only 4 spots above their worst ranking ever.

Here are the CONCACAF teams in the Top 10 in most FIFA Rankings points gained from December 2015 to December 2016:

    6. Costa Rica (+282)
    7. Curacao (+275)

Curacao moved up 76 spots to 75th to have the second most spots gained this year behind Guinea-Bissau, who moved up 78 spots.

Here are the Top 10 in CONCACAF in the December 2016 FIFA Rankings:

    17. Costa Rica (same spot)
    18. Mexico (same spot)
    28. USA (same spot)
    58. Panama (same spot)
    73. Haiti (down 4)
    75. Honduras (up 1)*
    75. Curacao (same spot)*
    77. Jamaica (down 1)
    78. Trinidad and Tobago (same spot)
    79. Guatemala (same spot)

    * means that teams are listed as tied if their points are equal when rounded to the nearest whole number, but FIFA also gives exact values which have Honduras at 467.42 and Curacao at 466.63.

Three CONCACAF teams moved 5 or more spots, and all three of them moved down 11 or more spots. Antigua and Barbuda is down 11 spots to 93rd, Nicaragua is down 25 spots to 124th, and Cuba is down 26 spots to 151st. Those are the only three teams in the world to move at least 10 spots in either direction. Many teams including the Top 28 did not play or change their FIFA Ranking.

    75. Curacao (same spot)*
    77. Jamaica (down 1)

Trinidad and Tobago fell out of the Top 10 in CONCACAF. I'm going to check to see the last time (if ever) that has happened. So far I've found that Trinidad and Tobago was in the Top 10 in CONCACAF in every month of 2013 through 2016.

The May 2017 FIFA Rankings didn't have many changes. The only team in the Top 10 in CONCACAF in April 2017 to move was Jamaica, who was down 1 to 74th. 24 out of 35 teams didn't move, 4 moved up 1, 4 moved down 1, St. Lucia was down 2, and Grenada (now 169th) and St. Vincent and the Grenadines (now 170th) were up 7 spots.
