in my case, my morelia II = us7.5

i got the lethal testimonials in same size, a little loose, if you want a good snug feel, go for 0.5 down

lethal testimonials forefoot padding is much less than desirable, unlike the morelia IIs

for japan made asics, the asics 2002 is the best choice, very retro and classy look, fantastic 100% k-leder

my only disappointment is the heel/ankle lining + padding, only if they make it like the DS Light series or morelia II, then PERFECTO!

I had forgot to mention this here but it looks like Asics will stop selling soccer boots in the US from spring 17. The reason cited is that it wasn't doing the sales they expected. Which considering they never advertised it's not surprising.

I bought some tigeror 4's made in vietnam and I really like them but I feel the uppers are very stiff I like the tech and feel overall do they continue to soften up or can somebody recommend an asics with the 10mm heel that are softer, leather would be preferable

Mate I bought a pair of new testimonials this season and I really like them. Not as soft as my mizunos, but the leather is nice and soft, studs provide good traction and they are really comfortable. I am 99% sure they have the 10mm heel gradient

Thanks Alex, yeah I am looking at getting some testimonials I also realized the tigerors don't breath that well and my feet get very warm. Lowest I have seen them is 112$ US would be nice to spend less I am a size 11.5 does anyone know where else to find them?

Not shocking this....the same thing happened in the late 1990's. Their unique uptake in Italy seems to be almost all word of mouth, but that will never work here where people don't care about things like quality.

Also...their Italian line with the real Testimonial (Light) and the Trigeror II still in production trumps most everything over here. The 10MM heel is silly and they went all in on it.

Well that and they never advertised anywhere. DS Light and the DS Light X-Fly did really well for us but then they stopped supporting the boot with new colourways. That doomed them.

    I't a great, great, boot...
If it has a swoosh, or three stripes, would be sold like hot bread

Everyone seems to rate both of them...pure correlation that neither have the stupid heel lift, surely.

The heel lift at least gave the brand a story though. I mean many of the Asics we sold were purely because wanted more support in the heel.

Plus two other companies will have something similar in the market starting in January.

thoughts and sizing of the X-Fly's?

I'm typically a Size 9US in Mizunos but got a pair of the X-Fly's in 8.5 and it was still too large for me. pity as I always felt it was one of the best boots I've ever tried.

I'm a little hesitant to get the X-Fly 2's because I loved the padding on the leather of the X-Fly 1's and the 2 doesn't have it, nor do they have that nice looking padded strip in the center like the DS Lights do aha.

I did same size as both. The X-Fly 1s are the better of the two
