    On the plus side, since the players now know that the ref means business, has sent out one for each side and even yellow-carded Messi, maybe they'll focus more on playing the game in second half instead of all this drama.

    well, it was close, but not a red. He was heading studs up almost over the ball. Had his foot not gotten caught on the ball it would have been a red.

    Earlier this tournament I was thinking how much I like the way Messi hasn't been diving...then this game happened. Stay off the ground.
