I didn't think that Venezuela was going to win, but I also didn't think that they were going to fold like this.

Se metían al partido con el penal de seijas

Si Colombia juega como ayer en Barranquilla , no me queda duda que nos ganan

One player who's really surprised me with the National Team is Gabriel Mercado. I remember back in March, I was wondering why he was starting against Chile in Santiago. He's been solid with the National Team though and has definitely proven me wrong. Much better than Roncaglia.

Knew Rondon would score. He was unplayable.

The problem is that June and July is the middle of MLS season. Copa America is in June followed immediately by Copa de Oro. Simply put the league wasn't willing to have their best players gone for two months.

Our player were way to scared... Only Feltscher was confidence in the defense line, to many mistakes that this monsters dont forgive and we are out

Yeah Rondon has had a good tournament.

2 goals conceded by Argentina in the tournament, both headers, not sure if anything needs to be read into that. Probably not.

Messi now top scorer with 4.

Higuain took his chance well, and Aguero didn't make any impact from the bench this time. I think it's too late now for Aguero to play his way into the starting line up. I feel a bit sorry for him since he's arguably the best player in the world not to be able to get into his country's starting line up. If he was any other nationality he wouldn't have a problem I suspect.

It's not like Venezuela didn't have chances either.

Hopefully this ends the "panenka" fad. It's okay to do it when you are Zidane, Pirlo or Alexis, otherwise stick to the tried and true. Rather easy win by Argentina, the erratic pass by Gonzalez facilitated the rest of the match. Very good performance by Messi.

The erratic pass was from Figuera, not Gonzalez

No Game for Venezuela and still managed to score a goal, shot to the post, miss a PK and make Romero work more than expected... For example, if you see the first half stats, you Will see that Venezuela generated more shots, situations and Romero worked more than Dany... Even without Peñaranda...

2 out of 4 argentinian goals were from those inocents error... with or without Peñaranda, the result would be the same

We cant give those gift against a rival like Argentina
