About the handball.. I don't care anymore.. I was Heated yesterday.. but now I'm calm, cuz I took my medications this morning.. now looking back, I guess this is karma for Brazil, for what happen to Ecuador.. and Peru deserved the win, cuz Brazil couldn't finish their chances. Yesterday, my personal Bias, was blinding me, to the fact that Peru is actually a GREAT TEAM! And I really mean it.. Peru is a Great team.. best of luck to ya.. take care guys

Brazil can complain about refereeing all they want, but if referees got all the calls right, then Ecuador would have been awarded their goal against Brazil and Peru's goal would've been disallowed. Which means that Ecuador would've won the group and Peru would've ended up in second place.

I still think that it was a handball, but its over now.

Peru v. Colombia is going to be a more competitive than I would've though. Peru is playing better than expected, and I'm still not sure about Colombia; specially with Pekerman in big time situations (he tends to make questionable decisions).

Colombia's loss to Costa Rica worked out well in their favour. Not only did they avoid Argentina's side in the semi-finals but have to take us on now. Colombia is playing some really good stuff. Our clashes seem really weird against Colombia though. They either beat us comfortably or we absolutely rob them like in the 2011 quarter final. I'm going to remain optimistic though.

Colombia is the much better side. Peru got lucky because the incompetent refs decided to give them a free pass. In seriousness, Colombia's strikers are still very dangerous (even with leaky defense versus Costa Rica, a team that is much more known for grinding games), while Peru has struggled to create goals. Peru's defense has been pretty stingy though, whereas Colombia looks much less assured.

    Colombia 3-2 Peru.

Colombia's team is very different to the 2011 one, not even remotely comparable. I think we're playing pretty well tbh, some consistency problems in seconds halves but other than that im happy.

it'll probably start off the same way, however after what happened against Costa Rica I can see us having a different attitude regardless of the score, which I think was the main issue.

you could say brazil got lucky against ecuador when the ref decided to disallowed ecuadors legitimate goal

I mean we are talking about ifs. Two controversial calls for brazil , one in favour and one against. Lets say it as a fair world and Ecuador beat brazil (1 -0) and Peru tied against brazil (0-0) . Peru would've still made it to the next round
I'm not even talking about the penalty shot the ref did not give peru in the first half...

I hope Peru goes through but I think it will be a 2-0 for Colombia.

When was the last time we lost? Looked at a head to head, was it 40 years ago?

Guess this just shows the mentalities of the teams historically but Colombia's mentality has gotten better over the years.
