really looking forward to this game.. unfortunately it comes on at a really difficult time, 5 am Doha time so not sure if I'll catch it or not, but one of the ties of the 1st round... a repeat of the last Copa America final.

Maybe they'll play Uruguay's national anthem tonight instead lol...

Argentina definitely looks like the favorite to win the whole thing ...

Chile played better. Argentina lucky they weren'table to score. Chile's high pressing forced Argentina to boot the ball.

I have been saying that sentence for like the last 7 Copa Americas. (Except 2001):p

Maybe you were saying that before the tournament started. Doubt you were saying that after the first game (at least not for the previous 2 Copas).

But yeah... they could win their first 3 matches convincingly, they'll still likely get Uruguay in the quarterfinals which could be a problem. So their first 3 matches are not very important for this tournament. :coffee:

Unless Venezuela surprises and finds a way to get a couple draws the last few matches or win outright.
But odds are you are right.

Yes, Chile were quite unlucky. They had at least 4 good chances in the box there were wasted, either by miscommunication or just plain fumbling the ball.
